We’ve had some great dining experiences in London, NYC, Hong Kong, Las Vegas and across Europe and we both agreed this is amongst the best. To get everything “spot on” is sadly quite rare but our evening was perfect. We were staying in the hotel so had drinks in the bar and having booked a table, made our way to the restaurant. We were greeted by Annabelle who looked after us throughout the evening with seamless care and attention. We felt so relaxed and enjoyed wonderful food without feeling rushed between courses. Looking around, everyone was enjoying the same ambience and faultless service. Annabelle really made our night by quietly bringing us some fizz and Happy Anniversay dessert plate – she really is a gem and a credit to the business.

I brought my mum to Leeds for the evening for a hotel stay and dinner. I’ve not been to the Dakota Grill before but colleagues at work recommended it so I booked.
Fabulous experience! The restaurant itself is lovely, really nice ambience and tastefully decorated for Christmas. I was a bit worried it was going to be full of Xmas parties (and therefore really loud) but it was a good mix of smaller tables for 2 and a few larger groups.
The food was outstanding. We both had fillet steak (I had the blue cheese sauce) and it was the best fillet I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten at some fantastic restaurants across the World. They were cooked to perfection and the sides were very tasty too (creamed spinach and potatoes).
We didn’t have a starter or dessert because we knew we wouldn’t finish the mains if we did – and we still struggled to finish it all – great portion sizes.
The staff were lovely. There were clearly busy but no rushing around or anyone looking stressed / just lovely experience all round. I wish I had asked the name of the Scottish gentlemen serving us (he probably did tell us) as he was super nice – I think he could have been the manager. Very attentive and kind and keen to make sure we enjoyed our experience.
We will definitely go again and we will probably stay in the hotel next time too. Thanks to everyone for making it a lovely night out for us x

Made the booking very last minute for my husband’s birthday as we were supposed to be on holiday but had to cancel. Dakota managed to fit us in! We were greeted and seated at our table promptly. Not long after we sat down we were given two complementary glasses of sparkling wine (one alcohol free as they remembered I said I was driving). We had pork belly starter, chateau and skipped desert as we were so full. The food was absolutely gorgeous and to top it off, we were brought a happy birthday fruit plate. We were served by Diaz throughout the night who was amazing! We have visited probably a handful of times before and not sure why we never reviewed before but it’s our favourite special spot. One of the best restaurant experiences we have had in Manchester. We had the Sunday roast menu. The food was outstanding, service was warm, friendly, quick and attentive. We enjoyed the atmosphere. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended.

We had the ‘taste of Dakota’ experience and it was incredible! All of the staff were so friendly and the food was amazing (SO much food! It’s definitely worth the money). I’d really recommend this dining experience for a special occasion

A fabulous place to celebrate my birthday. Great cocktails, and the food was delicious . I had the Venison Loin, cooked to perfection, and lovely sides. Sofia served us, she was friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble , a credit to the team. This was our second visit to Dakota Manchester and we will definitely return.
