We stopped by Cooter’s Place and decided to grab a bite to eat while we were there. The place is clean and the staff is warm and friendly. They have a very limited menu and the prices are a tad high. It hit the spot and nothing really notable.

What a fun place to stop & visit and take pics with the family after leaving Luray Caverns. My mother and I enjoyed lunch here, small menu American fare. We both ordered The Duke Boys and onion rings. I think I read it was locally sourced beef, a smashburger at that. Counter service, nice staff … clean diner, fresh hot food. Hand scooped ice cream on site. Dukes of Hazzard memorabilia, full size cars from show. Gift shop. Stop there to pass an hour to get out and stretch while touring the Shenandoah area. Thank you! We loved it!

Grabbed a bite to eat while at Cooter’s. Small menu. I really wanted to try the Boss Hog. It was good! We all liked our food. It was served quickly and hit the spot.

A simple cafe attached to the museum. I had The Bubby Hot Dog with Mac and Cheese, bacon, and onion topping

Cool memorabilia almost got to meet Dailey Duke. I would have eaten N but the selection was slim. Got to see three General Lee’s.

Delicious milk shakes and a decent selection of soups, sandwiches and snacks that’ll satisfy any hungry local or traveler.

I had a hamburger and it was the worst ever tasting and paper thin, I felt sick shortly after. Please save your life and don’t eat there. The French fries also were sooooo greasy. It seemed like the oil used for them has NOT been changed since they opened!

Very friendly country atmosphere. The Boss Hog sandwich (pulled pork and pimento cheese on buttered and grilled bread) was delicious. Prices here are very reasonable ($5-9 per adult) too. Will definitely return here. The Dukes of Hazzard museum was free and enjoyable.

Great place for ice cream. They have sundaes, and all the usual favorites. They have some fun Dukes of Hazard vehicles out front for pictures, and plenty of themed fun. This is about what you’d expect from a small town diner/ice cream place. Everyone was friendly and helpful inside. Would go again.

Didn’t eat at the diner, it was closed for remodel. But it’s a great place to visit to take a trip down memory lane with the Dukes of Hazard gang. Also some great music on Sunday afternoons.
