Despite explicitly having the “served upside down or the next one is free” sign up, and I read the small print, I was denied the coupon for the free blizzard. If you are going to do that, then actually serve then upside down. I turned it upside down 3 times talking to the worker, then he just whined about their long line. My friends also had their blizzards served without being upside down. Oh and since the small print is almost unreadable, heres the statement: ” upside down at participating locations. Limit one per person. Only one blizzard treat is served upside down in the drive thru and on multiple orders. Coupon for a free small blizzard treat can be redeemed on the next visit. “. I see that your customer relationship team replies to these, so please send me a coupon for a free small blizzard treat.

Asked for soft serve and received frozen whipped cream in a cone. I’ve had DQ soft serve before. This was not it: dimpled and unmelting. Someone must’ve mixed up the ingredients in the mixer. After paying $5 for a small, I expected something closer to ice cream. I should’ve thrown the $5 bill in the garbage instead; I would have been less disappointed.

Completely terrible. First off didn’t make my order when I got there because the one blizzard that is at the Castle Rock store isn’t at this store.
So he waited until I got all the way there and then asked me what flavor I wanted. I said I want mint Oreo and I already paid for a chocolate chip cookie dough extra which is $.99. I asked him for an extra scoop and I told him I’d pay for it. He’s then makes my blizzard and probably five seconds Stuffed it with Oreos didn’t give me chocolate chip cookie dough and it literally wasn’t even to the top when’s the last time and you got a blizzard at Dairy Queen ever that it was not almost overflowing out of the cup?. no gloves wasn’t upfront cleaning doing anything he just came running from the back could barely see his face. His hair is all over his eyes.
There’s obviously not good management here. It just sucks. It’s what I tell my employees. If you get a rush and you’re by yourself, take your time and get the order right but don’t get it wrong. People will wait 1520 minutes even 30 minutes for whatever they’re buying that’s why they’re buying it but if you make them wait 30 minutes and then give them the wrong product or item especially something that can’t really be remadecompletely ruins a return customer like seriously not going to the Dairy Queen ever again

Decided I would come back one more time after my previous bad experience. Once again I am HIGHLY disappointed in my service at this location. Like last time I came in asking for the PEANUT butter milkshake (which I get each time I am here) and once again, I was given the nutty buddy shake instead. Which is definitely what I did NOT order. The big man in the photos below is who took and messed up my order. (Please disregard girl in photos she did not make the nutty buddy shake ) As the shake was instead the nutty buddy, the chunks made me choke as it did last time. I am highly disappointed in Dairy Queen and hope that they will fix this issue and train their employees better in the future. Since this is the second time I have had this happen here and it causing me to choke, I am looking into taking legal action against this location and their employees. Dairy Queen, please fire Maui. – “What can I say except fire him!”

The last few times I have gone to this Dairy Queen they skimp out on the bits in the Blizzards. I get the Royal New York Cheesecake and I paid $8 for essentially soft serve ice cream with only a few pieces of cheesecake at the top with the strawberry center that does not even go down halfway.

Male staff member was huffy and passive aggressive with us when we accidentally picked up the incorrect item on the counter. He had put an orange Julius in the incorrect container – a DQ container – hence the reason we assumed it was ours and not the other person present who ordered orange Julius. It is okay to make a mistake. It is not okay to get passive aggressive with your customer when you realize the mistake. Also, the female taking orders is wearing a mask, and is difficult to understand. Poor communication over all.

I work in the mall, and frequent this Dairy Queen frequently for their incredibly gracious deal on large drinks for mall employees.
While I don’t usually get the food (not for any purpose other than preference), I am around it enough to notice a few things.
I’ll preface by saying I don’t inherently blame the team for everything, as I know management can seriously affect how the workplace is and affects its staff.
In what I’ve noticed, they seem understaffed, and slightly overworked but are trying their best.
They usually only have one cashier at the register, which usually results in long lines and wait times, with me having waited over 5 minutes at the register one time while the one guy working it had to help with orders simultaneously. (Again, I don’t blame the employees themselves for this)
I have seen it in its busiest, and all of the team are frantically running around trying to please as many people as they can while having their odds stacked against them, which can cause mistakes due to tiring and stress on the staff.
I believe this location has a lot of potential, but it definitely needs help and work.
I do recommend, because it seems like a decent spot to eat and enjoy a burger, just expect it to be a little rough, service wise.

I have been playing my visit here for the last week. While making plans I decided I would come here for my favorite peanut butter milkshake. After the suspenseful week of waiting, I came today and I am highly disappointed and unsatisfied in my experience. When I went up to the counter I asked the woman working if I could get “two small peanut butter milkshakes”. In response she tells me they are out of sprinkles and instead puts in that I ordered blizzards and almost made me pay for an item I did not ask for. After I noticed the mistake I corrected her and once again explained what I wanted. Two peanut butter milkshakes. Then she changed my order to one peanut butter milkshake and left a blizzard which I did NOT ask for. I corrected her immediately and she seemed to have fixed it. Or so I thought. When my order was called out after taking one sip I came to the realization that my milkshakes were still incorrect. I asked for the peanut butter milkshake and got the nutty buddy one instead. They are both very different and definitely not what I asked for. The crunches of the nutty buddy milkshake caused me to choke, which wouldn’t have happened if I got the peanut butter milkshake which I asked for countless times. Overall I am HIGHLY disappointed with this experience and am considering not coming back again when I was a loyal customer. Dairy queen please fix this, and check your employees as they cannot seem to get anything right. DO NOT ORDER THE PEANUT BUTTER MILKSHAKE!!! I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER THE PEANUT BUTTER MILKSHAKE!!!
