After repeating my orders, three times at the drive-through window, the person taking the order still couldn’t differentiate between a vanilla cone, dipped in chocolate and a plain vanilla cone. The order was for a plain vanilla cone, and a plain vanilla cone dipped in chocolate. The individual quoted “repeating the order does not help” Judging by the tone of the individual, we feel that our food will be tampered with. As a result, we canceled the order and drove off. The person had the audacity to tell us to to “have a good day” as we drove off. This was our first time to this location and will be the last time to this location. literally no s’mores in my medium smores blizzard. I waited in that line for so long and god i got so tired i went through the drive through so i can at least sit down. when i got handed my order pf four blizzards total there where spoons in them and no lid. That’s fine. It was overflowing and really melted though so it got on my new car. Anyways i’m eating rn and there’s literally no chocolate of marshmallows just tinny graham crackers…

If I could give 0 stars I would. Tried to go thru the drive thru at 840 when google says they close at 9 on 11/1. Sat there for a couple minutes trying to order. “Employee says over the speaker sorry we are closing early but you can order if you like only thing you can get though is dilly bars.” I asked why they were closing early, and the employee said “because my boss told us to close early, doesn’t feel like staying open and we cleaned everything already sorry about that.” Not sure what the point of having hours posted are if you close early, and I get maybe having some limitations close to close. But 15-20 minutes before you close, yes you can only get one thing off the menu, something no one comes here for anyway… Terrible location, do not recommend to anyone.

Queen of Shovels “Queen of Shovels”
The people working there tonight (5/12/25) are careless and unprofessional. Not only did they get our order wrong, but the blizzard that was not the correct flavor was seen being eaten by one of the employees after it was returned. We paid extra for “extra toppings”, and did NOT get extra toppings. Pretty sure work ethic isn’t a thing here. Do not recommend…..management, please correct this behavior or you this location will quickly go under.
I typically don’t post reviews, that’s how bad the experience was. We all work for our money and deserve a treat every now and then. Just not here.

Got a hot dog here recently It was so good way better than any hot dog I’ve gotten anywhere else lol However the chocolate malt could use a little more flavor

We will NEVER return to this DQ. We pulled up to the window, no one else in sight, but yet it seemed to take forever to give our order. When we tried to order we could hear the two girls laughing and talking in the back ground. They were clearly not listening to us when trying to order as we had to repeat our order multiple times despite going slow when speaking. Once we pulled up to the window we had to wait 5 more minutes for someone to come take our card, once we paid we then waited 5 more minutes for a girl to come to the window without our order, telling us she cannot make us the new fall blizzard, as she didn’t know how to, even though that is her one and only job. On top of that, She was dressed inappropriately for an employee. She was dressed more for a high school party than a professional job. We had to tell her our order once again, while we can hear her friend working in the back laughing. They then proceeded to not give us our card back and we had to ask for it. After all that, they forgot our pup cup, and gave us 5 blizzards that we had to ask for a drink carrier as who can hold 5 blizzards by themself? Probably spent 20 minutes in this drive thru even though we were the only ones there. Bad experience overall and will only go to the DQ in Mathomedi from now on, as their employees actually know how to make a blizzard, and in a timely manner.

Got there at 7:50, and was behind 3 other people. No problem. Waited for 10 minutes, and got to the counter. They tried to hand me someone else’s ice cream, and I just said “I don’t know what that is, I haven’t ordered yet.” I heard them say they didn’t have any orders left. I waited for 5 more minutes, and ordered, but not until after they argued for a few minutes about who was supposed to be watching front. We began ordering by saying we were teachers and were going to order the teacher appreciation special — a small blizzard. They didn’t know where the button for anything was, and it took over 7 minutes to complete an order and repeatedly reminding them of the teacher appreciation special — small blizzard. Then, we were told they were not participating in teacher appreciation week after holding our badges and waiting for over 20 minutes total. Not participating in something, sure, but after such a poor experience I didn’t even think it was worth paying for. My guess is they can’t afford anything, trying to compete with Cup and Cone. Looks like this experience is pretty common unfortunately. Won’t bother going back. If I’m going to wait that long, I may as well go to Cup and Cone where at least the service is better and it’s local and worth the money.

Here is a photo of what they consider a brownie choco extreme blizzard, save your time and go some place else, should have looked at the yelp review, they are horrible. Maybe not trained. Blizzard is ice cream and brownie dust, nothing choco extreme about this blizzard, $8 bucks for a glass of ice cream

Ordered our blizzards, medium snickers, and cookie dough a small Oreo. We got small Snickers and cookie dough and a small Oreo. They dump it into a medium cup and dump ice cream on top. I will forever drive to Mahtomdei. I will never come back.
