We drove 20 minutes to get two Reese’s Pieces Blizzards from Dairy Queen. When I rang the bell, a girl came out with a noticeable attitude. I placed the order clearly for two Reese’s Pieces Blizzards and told her we would be taking them to go.
When we got home, we realized the order was completely wrong. Normally mistakes happen and I wouldn’t make a big deal about it, but based on the initial interaction it really felt like she wasn’t listening to our order at all.
After driving 20 minutes and being excited about our treat, it was really disappointing to get home and find out we received something entirely different.

Visited dairy queen yesterday while on the move. As the location was along a highway, it was not easy to get to. Parking is at a premium. Employees are friendly and very helpful.
The ice cream products are made fresh and tastes delicious. Prices are average. There are benches alongside the location for users to sit at.

I was extremely disappointed with the staff’s rude behavior. They messed up my entire order. I clearly asked for an Oreo milkshake, but they handed me a Mint Oreo shake instead!
I also asked for three Blizzards Initially, she gave me only two after asking and waiting for about 5-10 minutes. When I asked her about it, she said she only charged me for two. Later on, I ordered another Blizzard, this time a Cookie Dough Snickers Blizzard. However, she handed me only Snickers instead. I was extremely disappointed with the entire experience.

We visited Dairy Queen in South Amboy, New Jersey, on Tuesday (October 6, 2025 time around 10:30 pm), and unfortunately experienced very rude behavior from the staff. We purchased items worth $30, but the staff closed the window immediately after handing us our order, as if we were doing something wrong. Additionally, when we asked about the available flavors, they were unhelpful and not willing to guide us properly.

Came here to get ice cream. Not much parking space and the exit out of this lot is actually so dangerous because of that one inconsiderate truck that was blocking the way and the vision to the highway. He was completely in the blindspot of both incoming traffic as well as the cars leaving. Even the car infront of me had trouble exitting and they couldn’t reverse out of there because the other opening is entrance only so we were both stuck half way with our front bumper of our vehicles sticking out of the lane mid way. This situation is waiting for an accident to happen and i don’t know how they just let a whole truck take up all the space like that and they werent even inside, it was just idling. Extremely hazardous and lucky i didnt call the cops on them get them towed out of there.

Shame on you, your manager who let’s you defraud and insult customers and your owner too. You knowingly charge 3 times the regular price for the ice cream you don’t even have and then are rude to the customer who asks for a refund when you tell him that after he waits for 10 minutes. Horrible customer service to even regular clients when they complain about being defrauded. Never again.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent experience at your Dairy Queen location. As a U.S. military veteran who recently separated in 2024, I visited your store to enjoy a medium Blizzard and take part in the Veterans Day promotion. However, I was denied service because I did not have a physical military ID card.
I explained to the employee that the Department of Veterans Affairs no longer issues physical ID cards and that all documentation is now digital (Attachment from VA website below stating this). Despite showing my verified digital Veteran ID and offering to provide my DD-214 form as proof of service, the employee stated she was following management’s policy refused to honor it.
As someone who has served my country, this experience was both disappointing and disheartening. It felt dismissive of my service and uninformed about current veteran verification processes. I hope Dairy Queen’s management will take this as an opportunity to educate staff on updated forms of veteran identification and ensure that all veterans are treated with the respect and appreciation they deserve.

Great place for a any kind of ice cream shakes depending on the size and location they have a lot of great stuff but this particular place is small but the customer service was excellent really nice women helped us order and even turned the blizzard upside down and it didn’t even move!!! Great place cheap prices plenty of parking just be careful leaving here because it’s right off a main road
