Terrible costumer service. To the little girl on the back who said my topping choice was “weird” while I was standing there waiting for my ice cream, learn some manners and have some respect. Just beacuse I ordered my ice cream with peanuts does not make it weird. Dont knock it till you try it.
Then you proceed to have a stare down with me while I was waiting for my ice cream minding my own business. And then tell me its gonna be a few mins with attitude.
To the owner of dairy queen get some additional costumer service training to your employees. They huddle in the back talk about there boyfriends/girlfriends while costumer stands ther trying to get their attention. Then they are rude when making your order.

I always get two cheeseburgers with extra pickles and they make sure it’s getting extra. Great atmosphere. Not always perfect but hardly anything is now a days. This store and the one on yak Ave have the best service

I went in for a QUART of vanilla ice cream and received a large cup of ice cream. A rip off in my opinion. Ill stick to the other 2 locations here in town from now on. Girl with the black hair and glasses idk exactly what was funny that made you laugh but that’s unprofessional. All the low star reviews for this location make sense. What a joke.

They are absolutely terrible about not putting cheese on hamburgers. Every time I’ve asked I say “I want a hamburger, plain, no cheese.” It is more common for me to get cheese on my burger than not. Once I had to return 3 times in a row because they refused to make the burger right. If you are in any way affected by cheese and want fast food, go somewhere else.
Also this specific location has very soggy chicken strips. No other DQ has as watery chicken strips as these. This review is not a singular incident. I’ve been consistently going to this DQ over the past 5 years and these have been reoccurring issues.

I ordered a small chocolate brownie extreme blizzard because the picture on the menu showed it as fully chocolate ice cream with brownie and chocolate chunks in it. What I got was a cup of vanilla soft serve with some marbled looking chocolate ice cream at the top with about 1 tablespoon each of brownie chunks and chocolate chunks mostly at the top. One I got about 7 bites in, it was all vanilla with a few chocolate specks in it. Completely misrepresented. I am done with this location. Instead of holding the blizzard upside down they should be required to show a core sample to prove they actually use the ingredients they say they do! For $6.00 I can buy a half gallon of good ice cream at the store!

I went here twice while in Yakima. I forgot which blizzard I bought, but I quickly devoured it. I wish I took note of it. It was maybe Crunch flavored. The second time I had a chocolate extreme. The first time it was not very clean as there was a lot of garbage piled up, and the cashier was super quiet. The second time was much better though.
This was a great escape from the hecticness of cousins at the house I was staying at in town.
I will be back here again next year.

I would’ve given this place at least 4 stars…had it not been for the actual food being delicious… (when we finally got service) …overall, 3 stars seems adequate & appropriate.
I took my son and daughter there for what I hoped would be a quick lunch on our way out of town. It was hot, we spent the last 4 hours in the sun watching football and we just wanted a bite to eat before hitting the road.
The drive thru was ridiculously long. I needed to use the restroom but I wanted to order my food first to cut into the waiting around period. There were at least 3 people who were hanging around the counter, avoiding eye contact, keeping their hands busy and ignoring our existence. Knowing it was busy in the drive thru, I was giving grace. We waited patiently… Before I couldn’t wait any longer, I decided to use the restroom and told my daughter what to order. As I returned my daughter said, no one had still asked her if she had been helped or could be helped…. Because my son really wanted chicken strips after a double header, he was exhausted, left waiting in the car…we decided to wait again until finally…. A young lady came and took our order. I was nervous at first. She seemed like she had been running around all day and was over managing the front (what looked like, by herself) which clearly no one else wanted to do…. And the task of filling up blizzards and shake orders. Nonetheless, she was polite and knew the menu/deals. She was very helpful. She even flipped the blizzard which my daughter thought was so cool because not everyone does it. We had 3 boxes and 3 drinks…which someone else stacked up & passed it off to us. I wish we were offered a bag or drink caddy to carryout all the food and drinks because there were only two of us and it was very awkward and difficult to carryout. At that point we were tired of waiting around and wanted to hit the road. The chicken strips…. Pretty much is what saved the review. It was nicely sized, hot and delicious. The toast was buttered too. If only the customer service could match… This place would be rated higher….

The place is clean service is prompt and fast the servers are courteous.
The one complaint and only complaint is that the last couple times I’ve been here I’ve gotten the bacon cheeseburger deluxe, and the bacon while cooked is a little un appetizing as it appears to be barely cooked Very floppy and chewy which I had to remove small complaint small potatoes, other than that good experience.
