So I’ve been here a few times and this is the last. They wouldn’t allow me a refund this time for an ice cream that tasted gross. The fudge sundae tasted like ice cream with marshmallows and the guy wouldn’t refund it. Maybe something wrong with the machine. Then the last time my doubled dipped cone leaked all around the edges (not summer time) I couldn’t enjoy eating it. I never have this problem at the Kitsap or Belfair location. It’s starting to get expensive also. I paid $5.95 for a mini blizzard

I ordered a hot fudge sundae with only a little bit of fudge. It was like I ordered vanilla ice cream with a small side of fudge. My friends got 4 chicken strips in their basket. When I looked I have a chicken strip that’s looks like a mini popcorn chicken.

Paid for my ice cream cones and when she gave me the change, she dropped my coins. I didn’t say a word about it but she must have e seen my face when she dropped my money. She turned around and flipped me off as the worker gave me our ice cream. I asked for the manager but she was the manager. So rude

JANNIFER, the woman with glasses was very rude, unacceptable. She offered no explanation for the long wait time for her to take the order, then took our order with a mean tone. Incredibly crowded. Food was okay.

Blizzards are awesome here. Friendly staff makes dine in fun. Drive thru and walk in lines move quickly. We come here when Baskin Robbins is closed. Not the same quality of ice cream but still good for a quick treat. The staff are super kind.

25$ order, I don’t normally check my food at the counter because it takes up time and my orders are so simple anyone with half a brain can’t mess it up. Got home after a 20 minute drive and they forgot my fries, my sauce, and gave me a pitiful little piece of bread. Always check your food at the window.

Great service and food over and over again. I have never been to a DQ that has consistent outstanding customer service, food, and ice cream.
Highly Recommend!

This DQ used to be one of my go-to spots. After today’s experience of a rude employee with undersized portions, I’ll be looking for a new place to get burgers and shakes.
We stopped in for lunch today and ordered 4 Blizzards along with some other food. Gary rang up our order- and he was very nice. When our Blizzards were served, they were ALL underfilled. Two were underfilled by a full inch, and two were underfilled by about 3/4 of an inch. I’ve been a big fan of DQ since the early 80s and I’ve been ordering Blizzards for many years. Today is the first day that we had a Blizzard that was underfilled- and ALL 4 of them were underfilled.
We mentioned that the Blizzards were underfilled to our cashier and he turned to ask another employee (who had a tattoo on her neck) how to fix the issue. The employee with a tattoo on her neck told the cashier that the Blizzards were perfect the way they were, but each one was noticeably underfilled. I could tell that the cashier wanted to help us, but the lady with the tattoo on her neck was wearing a tag that said “supervisor” and she kept insisting that it was a normal business practice of the Silverdale DQ to underfill Blizzards. When I politely asked if she could top them off to the proper portion, she flat-out refused and kept insisting that they were “perfect” as-is—while being openly rude about it.
What makes this worse is that I recently saw another review calling out the exact same employee for being rude, complete with a photo. I didn’t take the photo of the employee. I just copied it from the other review. Clearly management was made aware of the issue, yet nothing was done. If multiple customers are reporting the same negative experience with the same person, that’s a management failure.
Does the owner of this franchise know that staff is chasing customers away with rude treatment and charging them for something that they aren’t receiving? Or, has DQ corporate begun to encourage franchisees to reduce portion sizes to increase profits? Maybe that’s DQ’s version of “shrinkflation?”
A Blizzard isn’t cheap, and honestly- shorting the customer on an ounce per Blizzard might net the DQ location an extra 50 cents per Blizzard based on saved food cost. But is it worth it to lose a customer over that? We paid more than $47 for our meal, and it’s reasonable to expect to receive $47 worth of food. More importantly, a customer should be treated with basic respect. If management isn’t willing to retrain staff or hold them accountable, then customers will take their business elsewhere. Sadly, that’s where I’m at now.

Not sure what’s going on at this location exactly tonight…8:30pm (they close at 9:30) we’re told all the grills are off and they can only do ice cream, fries & chicken..okay cool that’s fine. Then we wait for a god awful long time in line while there’s only 1 car ahead of us..they drove off we didn’t even see anyone hang them anything. Then there’s 2 girls fooling around and barely notice we’re at the window. One notices us and cashes us out and hands us our food immediately from the counter as if it’s been there waiting for as long as we were in line since the person in front if us drove off. We get home not even 10 minutes away and our food is wrong and COLD. I’m talking the fries weren’t just soggy from a quick drive home, they were actually cold as if never fully cooked to begin with. They were also supposed to be large fries and we got small. We asked for a large Mountain Dew no ice, got a large Dr Pepper with ice. We also got the new Cake batter cookie dough blizzard and I took two bites and tossed it cause it tastes sour and I really hope I don’t get sick. $35 spent and for nothing to be edible…I’ve worked as a restaurant manager for the past 9 years, this is unacceptable from even a chain restaurant. With prices skyrocketing we need to do better. The girls working tonight need a supervisor on or re-training. Hair loose around food, laughing and joking around in front of customers, food mistakes etc.
UPDATE: Next morning and I’m sick. Definitely food poisoning from either the uncooked fries or sour ice cream. Or both. Only took 2 bites of each.

I ordered through Uber Eats. I understand that the Uber driver was at fault for showing up late. He even apologized. Uber even refunded my money. I contacted the Silverdale DQ and let them know my order was late and melted. Before I could ask to reorder my order like the driver suggested, I was abruptly interrupted. The person on the phone said “Thats Uber’s problem not ours!!!” Then as I questioned her statement, I was met with the phone disconnecting. I recalled the number. And asked the person if I could speak to the manager. She said I am the manager. I like DQ but, if this person is how this business wants to be represented then, I guess I will find another place to get ice cream.
