Dairy Queen brought back childhood memories from Oklahoma while we were in Colorado for vacation! Great food! Friendly service!… but the air conditioning wasn’t working during our visit. The HEATH® Caramel Brownie Cupfection was soo good!

Very SMALL portions compared to other DQ’s we’ve been to. The pictures show what$6 meal looks like and a $4. Yes, the chicken strips are just slightly larger than my indeed finger… Tasted good though and fresh. I wouldn’t buy a cake here though. While we were waiting for our food one of the girls taking orders was making an ice cream cake and grabbing the candy toppings that fell onto the counter with her bare hands and pressing them back onto the cake . Even with the small pieces I would have rated this at 3 stars if it wasn’t for the cake issue. The food did taste good, we just left a little hungry and grossed out.

We like the Blizzards that one can get here. They taste quite good, and they have a good selection. We usually get Turtle Pecan Cluster Blizzard or a Reeses, both with chocolate ice cream.
I do wish they had the unbreaded chicken still. I really did find it tasty.

Visiting from Wisconsin and we needed a sweet treat. I was so impressed with the young lady at the drive through. She was kind and conversational and accommodated my usual Wisconsin treat even though they don’t have it on their menu.

Nope. Food is OK (the double cheeseburger etc.), but what I caught a glimpse of while placing my order got worse while dining, and I could observe the guys up front and the food workers in the back: no gloves (OK IF you wash hands and keep hands clean by not touching your face or other surfaces, but …) all three guys must have had itchy or runny noses, constantly wiping their noses with bare hands, then handling food, beverages etc. whether building burgers in the back or handling ice cream cones and cups up front. Plus, they just looked dirty (the guys themselves). No laws say we must shower daily (I favor water conservation….), but at least keep your long dirty (& clean) hair in a hair net and/or hat, and don’t handle my food with bare hands that repeatedly wipe your nose and face and hair….. (Nope.)

We showed up late one night and ordered a couple of hamburgers. It was taking some time for them to fulfill our order and they explained they were cooking up a new batch of burgers. We didn’t mind the wait knowing our burgers would be hot and fresh. Finally our order was delivered and it was delicious! We haven’t had a fast food hamburger that tasted this good for a long time. The fries were also delicious!

The food took forever to come out, I had to remind them about my order after 15 minutes. All of the tables were dirty, and they weren’t even busy. The burgers were disgusting.
The shakes were decent, and the cashier was diligent with taking my order to make sure it was correct even though I had to remind them about my order.
