I’ve been to this Dairy Queen location on Pueblo Blvd several times, and the food has always been solid. The burgers are hot, the fries are fresh, and the Blizzards do exactly what Blizzards are supposed to do — fix your mood immediately.
The staff has also been friendly every time I’ve gone in, and overall it’s been a good experience on the food side.
But I have to be honest about the restrooms… I refuse to use them. Every time I’ve gone near them, there’s been a strong sewage smell that makes you question your life choices and suddenly decide you can hold it until you get home.
If that issue got fixed, this place would easily be a go-to spot without hesitation. The food and service are there — it just needs some attention in that one area to match the rest of the experience.

I have to edit my review and take the 5-star rating I gave 3 years ago down to a 1-star. I’ve been in the restaurant business for 26 years, and never before have a seen such chaos in motion. It was Saturday evening, and we politely waited almost 15 minutes in the lobby to have our order taken. We then proceeded to wait in the lobby for 27 more minutes for our food (two burgers and some fries) while other customers were served and left, but that is a different story. First off, a new CSR should not be running the register on a Saturday night, he was not fully trained and was very uncomfortable, having to ask question after question. The assistant manager had a serious attitude problem and obviously despised his job and the employees. Every time he walked by, he would roll his eyes. It was completely uncalled for when he humiliated the new CSR in front of a lobby full of customers. When asked if the GM would be working on Monday, one of the employees replied ‘yes, but the GM won’t care’. This is definitely the short version of events, but we’ll never return, especially since I know that nothing will be done about this.

One of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had in my entire life. Great shakes great service atmosphere amazing always clean. Gave us free water cups. Genuinely care about our service when I said I’m posting on to the survey. Only problem is that the chair slide around on the floor maybe should add some rubber feet overall amazing.

I travel from the Eastside to the Southside to eat at this Dairy Queen. Their Employees supersede the one on Troy like DAY & NIGHT! Not only the Southside DQ more professional and friendly, but the FOOD is always fresh and delicious. The dining room is always clean and inviting. Thank you DQ on the Southside, I will continue to drive across town for a delicious meal.

Came back twice just to confirm, they really don’t pay attention to detail when taking orders had to ask twice to get it right on top of that they put a moist towelette in my food to add insult to injury… I don’t understand why it’s so hard to just pay attention go slow and do it right the first time rather than this mess

I just want to give a big shout out to Utah, he was running around doing a million things and still gave great customer service. I don’t think we appreciate how much fast food workers have to go through. Through the chaos he even thought to put my blizzard in the freezer while waiting for the food rather than let it sit on the counter. It was warm in there, looked short staffed, and constant stream through the drive thru, but they held it together so well!

This location on Lehigh is the absolute worst in Pueblo. My husband brought me here tonight to treat me to a blizzard for Mother’s Day. Not only was the service terrible, the blizzard’s were too. They were thinner than a shake and didn’t taste right. I threw mine away. It was a complete waste of $20. We will definitely not be returning to this location and I don’t recommend it to anyone else!

I hate leaving bad reviews but the worker handed me my blizzard like this. I wanted to ask for napkins but the worker at the window seemed so mad that honestly I was scared and drove away. Idk if this is poor management or what but this whole interaction made me just upset honestly.

Hands down the BEST Dairy Queen in Pueblo! The staff is suuper friendly and efficient. The food was fresh and HOT. Also, just the placement of the food in the to-go bag good job.
