7pm, Wednesday, 10.21.20: through drive-thru, we ordered crispy chicken salad (good size), small heath blizzard, two chili cheese dogs, small fries for $20. Everything was fresh and delicious. Customer service was good. I would be happy to eat here again

There are not many choices to eat out in the area. I’ve tried several options on their menu and it is a crapshoot. It’s like a 50/50 chance the food will be hot and fresh or old and cold. Not the cleanest place I’ve been to.

We came on a tour bus, about 35 passengers, flooded the place,they took care of us, with a very pleasant attitude. Food was good, got chicken tenders that were not dry or over cooked. We were out in no time. Only detail, they need to improve restrooms, one for men, one for women. We ladies ended up in the men’s room to move faster, it was clean not smelly, the ladies toilet was not flushing, needed to lift up the tank cover and do it by hand. Overall was a good choice to go there and everybody happy to get ice cream for a change.

The service was good as far as the young man that took our order. However the lady was not very friendly when we got ready to leave & ordered a pup cup to go & she said that they didn’t have pup cups. She said that they don’t sell dog food. We told her that we always get a pup cup at Dairy Queen & she said that she was sorry but they don’t sell dog food. She said that they sell child sized ice cream cups but not pup cups. Then she acted like she was mad when we said that we didn’t want ice cream, just cool whip. Very rude & we won’t be stopping there anymore when traveling through. We usually get really friendly people there when we order the pup cup but not on this trip.

I love Dairy Queen honestly and it would be hard for me to give them a bad review. This one is one of the best I’ve gone to. They had friendly service, made polite conversation at the register, and the food was made correctly and tasty. It’s hard to find good fast food places like this these days. Great job!

Their fish sandwiches are good, and the service was great. The Salem location is a lot faster than the Mountain Home one. Taking a star off atmosphere for how narrow that drive through is, though. A larger vehicle could easily damage a tire.
