This place really is crappy now.
6/14/2025 7:35pm, ordered small Blizzard, medium chocolate dipped cone. Paid with cash, girl asked did I want my receipt. I said yes please. She closed the window. No receipt. She finally handed out the Blizzard which was runny and she didn’t serve it “upside down” it would have been on the pavement. I watched another girl walk towards the back of the store with a cone that was not dipped and then back without the cone. A couple minutes later, she went and got the cone from im guessing the walk-in freezer. The girl that took my money kept watching me and the one with the cone. She suddenly grabbed a napkin and ran towards the other girl. She came back with the now dipped cone, dripping chocolate everywhere. She kept watching me, put another napkin around the bottom of the cone, opened the window and shoved it at me. Before I could speak, she chirped, have a nice day and slammed the window. The thing looked like a crime scene. I drove around to the front door, went in and asked another child for a cup and spoon. She looked at me like I was crazy but got a spoon. She said, you need a cup? I said yes. It is already dripping on my clothes. She got a small cup from above the soft serve machine and I managed to dump the cone in it. I got another “have a nice day”
I get that it was not fully frozen. Instead of shoving it at me, someone should have used common sense and simply put it in a big enough cup to begin with.

The food is pretty good but we go for dessert. They also have premade ice cream cakes. They sell number candles also. I love the orange julius drink and can remember this from my childhood. My kids enjoy the blizzards. The blizzards are very sweet and full of toppings. The funnel cakes are good as well. Decently clean bathroom when I went.

Saw the commercial for the chicken bites. Long slow lines,don’t go at lunch time. 18 minutes in the drive-thru only to get frozen chicken bites on both orders. We had to wait 15 more minutes for them to make them again. They were good but not worth the wait. Call your order in and ask them to check it. The staff was very nice and apologetic.

Brought the food out to my table. really good burger. The only complaint I got, they didn’t leave me a tray so when I had to throw away my trash I had to carry it all by hand to the trash can. Unless I was supposed to just leave it on the table. The restaurants smell really good. Nice cozy atmosphere. Good and cool on the high summer’s day. I’ll definitely eat there again and recommend it to all my friends.

This is my first time visiting the Dairy Queen in El Dorado and the food was hot, the fries were fresh and salted to perfection. They literally forgot about my order and they had just said my number. You know what, mistakes happen. They quickly rectify the problem and I was on my way.

Only flaw…. The location.
It can be downright dangerous to enter and exit this place due to it’s locale being so near the intersection.
I’d recommend…but be careful when leaving.

I’m in town for work, and I love small town Dairy Queens back in Texas, so I wanted to give the local DQ a shot.
The food was hot and fresh when I picked it up, and the sweet lady who handed it to me called me baby. That alone made the meal amazing, but seriously. It was a nice, freshly made chicken strip basket and the Blizzard was kept in the freezer waiting for me. It was also where they kept my drink, which is such a cool thing to do because it made my Sprite even crisper, rivaling that legendary McD’s liquid Rice Krispies.
My only feedback would be I wish you had steak fingers. I know that’s a Texas DQ thing, like Jalitos, but I bet y’all would love them!

VERY short staffed. Last 2 times I have been there, one of the order resister has had some conflict. Delaying the checker taking orders. Food came promptly nice and hot had to wait 35 minutes to get our ice cream, ordered with meal. Even after going in twice to get it. We would have been happy to take it to our table. I was just glad none of us had to return to work. Staff that is there was friendly. Just not enough.
