Great little small town DQ. Passed through Lakota while on the road with my kids, and we are glad we did. There was a sign on the door apologizing for being short staffed, but I never would have known. Those workers I encountered were warm and courteous and good with my kids. A+. Would make a point of stopping there again.

This is one of our favorite places to stop for a break on the way to Fargo or Minneapolis. Always very clean, friendly workers, good food and ice cream cones! Our only disappointment is that this DQ does not offer the $7/$8 Meal Deal. But still plenty of DQ options. We will be back.

On a spontaneous trip, and in a new area i have never been to its is awesome when an encounter at a small fast food joint leaves you smiling. Friday may 10th somewhere between 1-5 PM i pulled in here for a quick lunch and the lady at the drive thru was pleasant cordial funny and engaging. Maybe the best drive thru person i ever encountered. Not to much, not to little just the perfect engagement. I mean, rarely will i remember a fish sandwich but on top of the food being fresh and tasty the customer service was off the chain. I will stop here again if in the area!

Just passing thru. Stop to grab something quick. Decided on chicken strips. They were pretty good. The young lady behind the counter tha took my order did an excellent job. She smiled and looked at me and asked what I would like to order. Very sweet young lady. The inside was very clean. The outside was also.

It’s usually pretty good but this time the malt was really runny.

Group of kids running the place, always something wrong. Mixing up orders, forgotten food in the bags, extremely sloppy food with random condiments smeared on the food and wrappers, snobby little kids behind the counter with attitudes, and the most disappointing… Half liquidy blizzards. Been there at least a dozen times, and never once had an enjoyable experience there. Think I’ll stick to the one Devils Lake, well worth the extra drive for their good service and food.

Always stop here on the way back from Fargo, the ice cream just doesn’t seem to last all the way to Devils Lake… LOL

To be honest it’s a must and personally we are blessed to have a Dairy Queen in our small community.
Talk about nice owners. Always super friendly they’re not open in the winter but who really needs cold ice cream when it’s 40 below outside.
Great clean environment and if you’re ever passing by Lakota on highway to definitely swing in and grab an ice cream treat for the road. You won’t regret it I promise.

Came in late, half hour before closing. Girl at the counter seemed annoyed that we were in there, tapping a pen on the counter. The cook that brought the food out was very polite and friendly though. Food was good also, as it normally is.
