I like that you can pick your flavor since they also have a Subway® in house so either have a hot eat or a cool treat or a foot long the meatball marinara sauce is my favorite either way you won’t go wrong.

I stopped at the DQ in Desmet today on my way through town. I was very impressed. The lobby was clean and smelled so fresh. The cashier was friendly, my food was cooked perfectly, hot and fresh and the prices are reasonable. But, that Coke, I love a good fountain pop. Mine was wonderful. Thank you Desmet DQ. You did a great job.

For ordering one or 2 things like ice cream/blizzard they don’t care if the person in front of you has a huge order they will have you wait in the drive thru. Have them wait aside and get other customers thru with smaller orders. I was a manager at McDs and I k ow this first hand. Happy customers come first

Great service! We placed our order, but as we left we noticed we were missing an item. It i s drive thru only at this time (4/3/21) and six cars were in the drive thru waiting to order. We parked and called in where a very friendly person quickly apologized and said they would bring it right out…which is awesome as we had two restless babies in the car. They quickly brought our item (hot and fresh)… actually gave us two and a couple free item certificates. Excellent service, they went above and beyond expectations. Can hardly find such service anymore. I would highly recommend!

Grabbed some blizzards, and onion rings.
Saw the sign thanking customers for their patronage.

I paid almost $30 for my food, waited at the drive up window fir 20-25 mins for my food, thinking its taking so long because they are making it fresh, nope I was wrong, my french fries were literally ice cold, my water was warm. Didn’t even give me the other fries for the value meal. Didnt even supply the fork. I will be calling cooperate Monday morning for sure. When i called to complain all they said was well I can get you a free ice cream for the mess up. Free icecream for a $30 order I don’t think so.

We enjoyed an exceptional supper at the DeSmet Dairy Queen this evening. A small glitch with our order was corrected swiftly and cheerfully. The food was served hot and fresh. They even held off making our Blizzards until we finished our meal! And, presented them (blended all the way to the bottom) with spoons that were longer than the depth of the cup! All those little details aren’t necessarily the norm at all DQs, but we certainly noticed and appreciated it all.

We stopped to get a what we thought would be a quick bite on our way through town. Ended up sitting in the Drive-Thru for 40 minutes almost waiting for food. The next time I drive through this town, I will stop at the gas station and get food instead when I got my food, I was missing things from my order and all of my food was cold. I was also Limited 2 Powerade and fruit punch to drink because they ran out of CO2 or didn’t change the tank. if I could give zero Stars I would
