I went to the Dairy Queen in Rice Lake because I wanted to get some fresh Dilly bars. The previous night I had been to the Dairy Queen in Chetek and I found out they now having the dilly bars shipped in instead of making them in the stores. This really disappointed me. Until I went to the Rice Lake Dairy Queen and found out they’re still hand making their own. So I was very happy with that but I’m sure the company itself won’t let them for very long. I will make use of it for as long as I can..
The Dilly Bars in Rice Lake are Awesome!! The picture of the Dilly bar is the one from Rice Lake that was handmade. The new ones don’t have that little twirl on them they’re just flat on both sides.

The worst experience of my life the bigger lady decides to just start yelling at people because they can’t keep up. People from the drive-through just drove away three people people from the dining room, just walked away. it took 25 minutes to get my meal

In the past we’ve had issues with the chetek Dairy Queen. This summer however every time we’ve came our food was fresh and hot. Service was good but sometimes a bit of a wait depending on how busy they are and who’s working. I’ve never left a view before being that in the past I wouldn’t have recommended them. However EVERY time we’ve stopped this summer I’ve been pleased with the quality of the food. And a correct order every time!

They are stingy on their ice cream. They post pictures of the size small to large on the wall, but the size you actually get is one half the advertised size!

It took over 20 minutes to get a mini blizzard and they remade our cherry dipped cone three times and they ended up running out of cherry dip and we didn’t get the cone. People after us came in and waited almost 10 minutes and no employees asked if they needed helped and they walked out. Employees are not very friendly.

Service was slow, and apparently it’s pretty hard to make a blizzard that isn’t pouring out all over the top of the cup. At least they could make a cone without any trouble.
