Me and my two boys visited on June 24,2023. We ordered several meals ,and a shake. We waited 20 min on a shake. We then waited 30 minutes in the lobby, and we were promised our food several times throughout the time frame. Moments later, my patience broke, I asked the cashier about my food ,and found out my food was never prepared. I then noticed the kitchen was filthy,food on floors that clearly have never been swept,walls look greasy. I asked for a refund,and I was told I couldn’t have a refund by the cashier, but another cashier said I could have one. I was also told they have no manager. They gave me my money, and I’ll never return. Me and the boys ,dodged possible food poisoning ,at the cost of time ,and got free fountain drinks and a shake for 30 min of our time. I hope this staff gets it together.

Hardly any toppings in the blizzard for what you pay. I’ve been at many and usually not the case and never had a complaint anywhere else! Don’t cinch in the toppings when $5.00 for medium.

Took the grandkids and grandpa. They had a lot of fun. The restrooms were clean, as was the eating area. Stand were super friendly.

Easy to find, easy parking, staff was semi-friendly, cleanliness of store 7/10. I gave this location Dairy Queen a 2 star because I had a white hair in my fries I ordered, I’m bald. Also the hot fudge sundaes I ordered there was no hot fudge on them. I had more hot fudge on the outside of the cup than I did inside the cup (right side sundae)

Service was friendly and fast, drive thru speaker is not working well, and ice cream the last couple of times taste different. Wondering what has changed. I am not a fan. Just want to let you know. We will be going to Culver’s from now on.

So. Employees were good in Portage… BUT here’s the thing about this DQ… It needs a huge change. It’s not clean, the AC above was dripping everywhere. The water droplets were traveling across the ceiling and falling in several places. Looks to be very old and is directly over where they have their dips for your choc., Strawberry, etc covered ice cream. The counter where you order has several things on it that personally as far as I can tell should not be. No other dairy queen I’ve seen has their products hanging out on the counter where your order did by registers.
