Came to S. Milwaukee to bring my son back to STL… Its inside the place where he worked so we stopped here to eat before heading back. Cashier let us know our fries would be fresh. That was a plus!! Food hot and fresh,YES!!

What a joke. Open till ten but won’t sell an ice cream cake after 9. Literally locked the case. Was told manager Lisas policy. Thanks for wasting 40 minutes of my night. Your open another 45 minutes and there is 5 cars in the drive through…(Who also can’t buy an ice cream cake?)… Also consider in the past 6 months I have bought at least 10 ice cream cakes after 9 pm from this store.
Update: Just got an ice cream cake door dashed from a cudahy DQ after going home and posting this review. Will be going there from now where it seems they want to take my money.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would.
The cake I received was not prepared as ordered. During my phone call with the staff, I clearly requested all vanilla ice cream in the middle, but the employee failed to record my order accurately. Instead, I was given a cake with both vanilla and chocolate.
This was not my error, yet I was told I had to accept the consequences of their mistake. I reached out to the manager, Lisa Pope, as well as corporate for a refund, but because the employee did not write “all vanilla,” they refused to make it right and or refund me for the error.
The lack of accountability and professionalism in handling this situation is extremely disappointing. Poor communication and even worse customer service. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

The night manager seems to think that she owns pick ‘n save and can tell paying pick and save customers to leave. Even if they are on their phone after making a purchase at the store. Absolutely ridiculous. You guys are tenants in pick and save not the other way around

Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cake: For Father’s Day this year my Dad wanted a DQ ice cream cake to celebrate. Their cakes are comprised of primarily vanilla ice cream, with creamy whipped cream, a little chocolate ice cream, and that signature layer of chocolatey crunch pieces and gooey fudge. I’ve eaten more than enough DQ ice cream in my life (little known fact, the Doughboy’s first job in high school was at DQ), but this cake was still excellent. Even though I didn’t make this one myself like in the old days, it’s still Doughboy approved.

Great place to come to if you want the staff to curse out your family members for asking if their blizzard is almost ready after waiting 10 minutes in the drive thru.

This DQ is located inside Pick-N-Save and a nearby school let out, so it was noisy with students.
The staff was busy, friendly, and courteous.
The French fries were small in size but oh so good and perfectly fried.
The sundaes were creamy and just the right amount.

Great job on the candy to ice cream ratio in the blizzards. We order from the Oak Creek location (15 mins away) over the St. Francis location (3 mins away). OC knows how to make them and the ice cream is not a soup when it arrives, even though it 5 times further away and delivered.
