Long drive thru line, so went inside thought It’d be faster to be there 5 mins shy of an hour for two kid/sm sized sundaes && a small order of cheese curds. The lady got us figured out eventually after i had to show her our receipt of what I even ordered because my number was cleared she upgraded our sundaes but unfortunately was crunched for time at that point we couldnt even finish them. I appreciate her trying to make it right tho. Just gonna rethink on the stop for a quick treat with the kiddo next time

Went to Des Moines on a trip and stop at this particular DQ. Very disappointed. First, the workers spend more time joking around than attending the front. Even when they saw I was at the counter, just looked and kept joking around. I get my food and looks more a kids meal than a $7 meal. (As you can see in the photo). They forgot the drink so I went to the counter to ask for them. Same thing. Saw me and no one come. Had to call them and ask for the cups. Same issue to pick up the ice creams. Very disappointed and not stopping again on this one.

The assist manager did a great job Sat 8-19 when a hostel customer was so rude and loud. That customer was way out of line and was a bother to all the customers in the place! Great job to the Assistant manager!

Went through the drive thru for two kids meals waited 20 minutes never got our food so I went inside to see what happened. Was told it would be right out waited another 20 minutes, then was told they were we cooking the food. Waited another ten minutes and finally received our food with no no apologies.

Food was just OK. However, the customer service was poor; workers were not that friendly. I ordered a side salad (stale lettuce), but it did not come with any sauce. So I stood at the counter only for the workers to purposely ignore me. They were not trying to hide it either. I gave up after a few minutes. Also, there were fruit flies around the tables, which were a but irritating.

I was very happy to find that this Dairy Queen now carries non-dairy dilly bars and reduced sugar dilly bars. They only come in one flavor, chocolate, but pick your battles. I’m hopeful Dairy Queen will start to make these types in Cherry, too. The staff was friendly and the dilly bars are worth the money. I would recommend trying one of these dilly bars.

I was very disappointed. We waited for over 10 minutes for our food. The tea tasted so bitter it was undrinkable. The fries weren’t even cooked (think wet potatoes). And my barbecue chicken strips barely had any sauce on it. We eat here a lot and it’s been in a steady decline. I know we have a shortage of people willing to work, but this… this was just not caring. 🙁

The girl at the counter wasn’t friendly at all. To be honest she was rude. The food was disappointing but the malts were good. Go for the ice cream go somewhere else for a burger.

Not even deserving of one star. Third time in the last 3 months have tried to go here. No chocolate ice cream, always want me to buy something else. I am tired of sitting in line for 20 to 30 minutes and not able to get what you order. There are several other places in Altoona that have ice cream, I guess that is where I will be.
