I recently came through drive thru to get my child a cupcake ice cream around 230. The lady at the window attempted to hand me someone else’s food, and I explained I’m waiting for my card back. She then goes to another register to try to run my card. After a while she comes back, and says your card won’t read on our machines, next time YOU need to come in because YOU’RE holding up the line! Mind you, my card has been working everywhere else today, and has worked at this DQ before. She was extremely rude! I understand she may have been under pressure due to being busy, but that’s no way to talk to a customer! Also, she rounded up my check .72 which I didn’t agree to.

First going here and the food was really good, it was hot and fresh. The service was already very friendly and nice. The place was clean and not very busy. We did not have to wait long for our food. I had the grill chicken sandwich and my son had the chicken strip basket, both were really good. We got the meals with fries and drinks, it was around $14, so not too bad. I do recommend going here and I will be back

We are not sure if they make the blizzards far in advance for the drive thru but every time we order a blizzard they are always melted. No matter what you are waiting in line at drive thru but when you pull up to the window your blizzard is already done and melted?? Maybe make them right when they come up. You’re waiting in line anyways? Ours was completely melted this last time and I looked at her like are you kidding me and she said “dont look at me I didn’t make it”. The blizzard was basically milk and the whip cream was dripping down the cup. No napkins or anything.
We have drove to the Frederica location and got back over to this area and there blizzards are still together.

Maybe get colder refrigerators or make them when the person arrives at the window

This is the best Dairy Queen in Owensboro. We drive out of our way to eat at this one because the food is always hotter and the fries crispier! It always seems to be staffed by adults instead of teens, so maybe that makes the difference. Plus, I like the home-y, retro atmosphere.

The service was horrible, the place was sticky and didn’t feel clean, it’s 9:30 I asked for gravy apparently they “ran out” and then gave us a cup of it barely half full. Also, asked for marinara paid for it, didn’t receive it. While I was waiting for my food I saw two boys playing with the ice cream machine on TOP OF THAT, it took almost 20 minutes for me to get my food, I understand things happen and how the food business works, but in reality these people are lazy.

I got a large New York cheesecake blizzard and it was good but had NO strawberries I was completely disappointed I went home and cried for days. Very disappointed in this. I’m suing this department and every DQ in Owensboro.
