This Dairy Queen location was clean and the service was quick friendly and professional. The food was good . I got the 7 Dollar meal Deal with the cheeseburger and hot fudge Sunday. It was all good. If you’re in Harlan County Kentucky then I recommend this DQ.

They have amazing food, but the only reason I ever really go is for their milkshakes. I live about 30 miles away and have been known to drive the distance JUST to get a shake. Thats how good they are. If you’ve not tried them, do yourself a favor and buy one!!

We walked in, and they took our order, but they acted like it was such a big deal to do so. We’ve eaten here before and was greeted with such wonderful people but the past time or two no. There were some tables that needed attention.

Came to the drive-thru a young woman answered me but it sounded like her headset wasn’t working. Another woman jumped in and I ordered a 6 piece chicken strip meal. Came to $11 and change. Got my meal and left only to find there were only five chicken strips. Circled around back through the drive through to inform the young lady that I was missing a chicken strip and only had five. Instead of just giving me one in letting me go on my way she stated that she only charged me for a four-piece and demanded that I pay for the chicken strip that I wanted. Not that I mind paying, it’s the principle of the matter. It’s one chicken strip. You got your money, but you lost a customer. We’re new to the area, so we’ll be making sure we avoid Dairy Queen from now on.

It is usually great but tonight was exceptionally bad. Ordered a large blizzard and was given a baby spoon. I walked back in to get a large spoon and was told they were out. They should never be out of spoons. But come to find out, it was only plain vanilla ice cream half way down. So I guess they thought they didnt have to put the blizzard mix in cause the spoon wont reach that far anyway.

It took a minute to get someone to take my order, but when they did they apologized. I also tried a different blizzard than what I usually get. S’mores! It is now my favorite flavor.
