I gave it 3 stars because I’m tired of driving to the location and them being out of ice cream or a machine is not working. Twice I’ve ordered online and when I went to pick it up they didn’t have what I ordered. If they don’t have it, it shouldn’t let you order it. Idk who is ordering their ice cream for restock, but they’re not doing a very good job. I’m writing this because I was thinking of going there. I tried to call and ask if they have what I was going to get because I don’t want to make another wasted trip, but no one answered. This is going to make the second time that I’m not going to even try. I’m just going somewhere else that’s never out of ice cream. I prefer things Dairy Queen has so I wish they would keep their freezer stocked better.

There was sharp hard plastic in my child’s ice-cream took 30 minutes to get half the order another 30 for them to correct it this saw the cook eating with gloves on while making orders this place needs new management quickly or properly train them

Finally Daury Queen at Lafayette!
Due to this is the new store, there will be long lines to get your turn both drive thru and inside order. There was plenty room to dine though. Caramel cheese cake blizzard was awesome. They had an even extra small size I can order.

I ordered a custom gender reveal ice cream cake from DQ this past week. My description on the phone was perfectly executed and the inside had the color of the baby gender. I could not be happier with how my little cake turned out. It decorated perfectly. Loved everything about it!

Seven dollar meao’neill food was o k except the small fry portion has dropped down to like you will expect with a kid’s meal. Also The hot fudge small Sunday was a real real disappointment.Just a bowl of ice cream with a really small drizzle of hot chocolate over top.Was not a sunday

I have made 3 separate attempts to get a misty freeze, it is vanilla soft serve blended with slush. I made it an even easier order as I told them that I did not want the 2 blended. Just put the soft serve in the cup with the slush on top! Pretty simple. 1st attempt, after waiting 10 mins for someone to even start our order (we were the only customers there at that point) the counter employee yells back and says “don’t blend that!” The manager then comes to say their slush machine is not working right, I could choose something else. Second attempt, I ask first if the slush machine is working. The answer is yes. Great, however, what i get when my order comes out is lemon slush topped with cherry slush?? And the slush is still too liquid-like! Not to mention that that is not what goes into a misty freeze! I don’t bother to complain. 3rd attempt, this time the ingredients are right, but the slush machine must still not be working, because I get soft serve topped with just liquid that looks more like cherry punch! I could see the slush machine not being a priority if you are a restaurant that rarely makes slush drinks, but it is a dessert shop and slushes are a big item. The items they offer are not cheap, and it is infuriating to spend hard-earned money on subpar food and poor customer service!It seems the majority of employees are teenagers and this job is nothing more than a way to get paid while hanging with their friends. I doubt I will be giving Dairy Queen another $5-$7 for an unacceptable product!

the manager or whoever she is should wait till there’s no customers to scold and lecture her employees. very unprofessional. besides that the food and service was great, but i hope those poor employees get a better leader because she sure didn’t seem like a good one.
