We come here a couple times a month and are really impressed with the staff. We found out today the managers name is Byron. We just really wanted to commend him for the way he trains his staff and runs this location! They are always nice and the service is quick!

Me and family went for a Saturday lunch. The place was clean staff was ok. The soda machine was out of just about every flavor and type of drink. I told one of the staff and asked if they had juice boxes for the kids meals like the ones pictured on the menu. He said no and offered no solution. The fries were very good hot and fresh. Burger not so much. Not the best quality meat and buns not fresh. Food prep was good and neat. Icecream is very good. Great for fries and treats skip the sandwiches.

Bathrooms no toilet paper. Or soap or paper towels, smelled like dirty diapers. I told staff they said they couldn’t get to the toilet paper. Parking was very difficult in our truck.

I’ve had a good experience at this Dairy Queen every time I’ve been. Most of the time I use the drive-thru, and the service has been fast and accurate. The food is consistently good, and the frozen treats are delicious. The Blizzards and dip cones never disappoint.

Went to Dairy Queen today I got a banana split first one I’ve had in years it was good but not the best I’ve ever had and it didn’t have a cherry on top ! Had to pay a extra 25 cents for a sprinkle of pecans !!! Hubby got a foot long Chile dog and onion rings had to take onion rings back they were hard as a rock !! It’s a ok place but always has a funky smell

Mediocre at best. “LaTreasure” , was soft spoken and seemed sweet, but not very in tune. When one of our burgers (the deluxe with mayo/no ketchup) came out with just meat, cheese, and mayo, I returned to the register to get it replaced with one with all the correct toppings. The cook showed the order to the “manager” who promptly grabbed it up and headed out front to tell me I had ordered it wrong. I showed her the receipt, and I wasn’t mad or even upset, just wanted the deluxe. She and the cook went back into the kitchen and she continued to “mouth” things about customers not knowing how to order. I didn’t respond to her and thanked her kindly when she returned with the correct burger.
As we were leaving, We spoke kind words to the cashier, who was playing on her phone. She stared at us blankly, even after my elderly mother told her thank you, and that her hamburger was delicious. My father suggested that something may be wrong with her or that she was “special”.
The hard truth?
None of the employees has enough sense, common courtesy, nor good manners to work with the public.
There’s a reason why this parking lot is empty at lunch time. There is a reason why the Chik-Fil-A next door had a line out the door and a line of cars wrapped around the building. We had gone there first but there was nowhere to sit because they were so full. Next time we will be more patient with Chik-Fil-A.
*on a side note, It’s 5 months past due to change your sign.
This was our last visit to The Gardendale Dairy Queen.

They have shrunk their banana split so small the bananas were bent to fit. Hardly no ice cream or toppings and still charged 9 bucks. Had I saw it before leaving I would have told them to keep it. 15 bucks for a sundae and pitiful banana split.

I don’t really care that you can turn a Blizzard upside down and nothing falls out. What a care about is how it is made. I ordered a Reese’s Cup Blizzard. It was like a vanilla blizzard with some Reese’s dust blown on top. Won’t be back!
