This location is connected to a gas station. My fiance, son, and I showed up at 9:55pm (they were closing at 10pm). The door was locked, but there were a couple people inside. A little lady with a Middle Eastern accent opened the door, and said, “we close 5 minutes”. I asked, “Dairy Queen?”. She replied, “just ice cream”. They’d already cleaned the entire kitchen, most of the crew had gone home, and most machinery was shut down. Fine with us, we only wanted ice cream. We ordered two Oreo Blizzards, and a Cotton Candy Blizzard. They had them ready in under 3 minutes, served everything with a smile, and both ladies had a GREAT attitude. We’d arrived right at closing time, so they didn’t have to let us in at all. Very thankful, since that Blizzard was all my son (who’s autistic) had talked about for half the day. Crisis averted. Thank you, ladies! ☺️

Ordered 2 twist cones, one of them with the choc dip and I get a vanilla and a dipped cone…. I told her I asked for TWIsT on both of them & she said the dip one was already a twist. She lied, she also just dumped the top off my vanilla and topped it with the twist so they didn’t waste another cone or the bottom portion of vanialla she messed up giving me. Pathetic, cheap and terrible customer service… do not recommend giving business to those who try and cheat you.

Went thur drive thur. Handed man cash with a penny to get dollars back. He snatched the money from my hand without ever looking the penny flew away and hands me back 99 cents of change and my dollar’s. Was not very happy but just went about my business as I was passing through and am not from there. But the blizzard where great. No complaints about food. But only got two blizzards. Did not go into store.

It’s in a gas station. Burger was horrible! Dry and chewy. Found a dirty bench to eat at by the back door of the gas station. Never going there again! Oh, prices were ridiculous $35.00 for a chicken sandwich ( made from two chicken strips), a cheeseburger and a small strawberry sundee and two drinks. Repeat, NEVER AGAIN!

This DQ is connected to a gas station. Both the gas station and DQ are very sketchy and run-down. The service was awful. We were the only ones in the store, and there was no one in the drive-thru. We stood at the counter waiting for someone to take our order for a solid minute and a half. The man who took my daughters order didn’t say anything except “Is that all?” And the total. He didn’t greet us, he didn’t offer us a receipt, he didn’t say anything after the order was taken, he just walked off He walked off when my daughter put her card in the machine and went to the back and started cooking. It took another 4 minutes to get the blizzard, and then we stood at the counter for another 4 minutes for someone to ask us what we were waiting for, we had told her that we ordered fries and a blizzard and needed the fries still. She said, “Oh, ok, he is working on the fries right now.” We thought she was right because he was I the kitchen cooking something. After another 3 minutes, 2 ladies went back to the kitchen and were talking to the man who took our order and finally came back out to the front counter and said there was no order for fries and asked of we would like to order some. We declined and left. This whole ordeal took nearly 15 min when any other DQ we have been to would have been at the most 5 minutes (I keep track of time constantly and count constantly). The blizzard was supposed to be a reeces cup, but it was mostly vanilla, with very little p.butter cups, and was not turned upside down like other DQs either.

$6.36 Chili Dogs. I’m on the road a lot and usually swing by a DQ for a couple Chili Dogs. Usually about $2.89 each, including the other Gainesville location which charges about $2.99 each (also tucked inside a gas station). This DQ must have Chili Dogs made of gold, bc the Chili Dogs are over twice as much, at $6.36 each. Yikes. And the Blizzard is 50% more. So my meal which is usually about $10 was about $20 instead. An extra star given for the delightful drive thru lady. Very kind and courteous. But I’ll be going to the other location from now on.

Do not visit this place. The woman who tended to my order was ridiculously rude to me & several of the other customers. I ordered a sundae with 2 toppings and she gave me 2 sundaes with 1 topping each (which I was charged for both) and did have the slightest inclination to correct. Given the choice, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Absolute worst Dairy Queen I’ve ever been to in my life. I ordered a simple chicken basket with a shake to go with and they took 20 mins to realize they forgot the shake. I had to wave the employee down and say something, they were legit gonna let me walk out without everything I paid for (20$ outrageous). They were standing in the back laughing and pointing while I stood there feeling both mocked and humiliated. Please save yourself and your childs sanity, do not take them to the dairy queen that ruined mine.

Not a very clean restaurant and it is in a gas station so not much seating and you carry your food through the gas station to the very few tables available. The bathroom for women was disgusting.
