I’m done going to the Dairy Queen in Hamlet it’s always an issue when I try and get food I don’t know why I even tried today after going the other day to get food and they had no cook so I had to get a refund on my order and today I order food and you still can’t even make that right I got tenders no sauce and bread and butter untoasted them kids in there are untrained the cashier in the drive thru didn’t even finish taking my order I just pulled around I didn’t even get all of what I wanted and you don’t have to worry about me or my family will not be eating there anymore.

I really had a bad experience this last visit at this Dairy Queen. The only reason I gave 3 stars & not 1 is because the manager that was on duty. He was really trying his best to make sure everyone was taken care of. Besides that, everything was a mess!! They were out of a few food items, didn’t get orders right, forgot drinks, forgot ice cream, had to wait 10+ mins for a shake, had to ask for utensils. Just one thing after another. Now I know the restaurant had NO control over this but to add to the customers frustration, there was a child that came in running all over the place, yelling, dumping ice out of the machine ALL over the floor, going behind the counter, standing on the counter, hiding in cabinets. On top of that her “grown up” did absolutely nothing to keep her, let’s say, “in line”.

This place straight up tried to rob me. They charged me three times the amount for ONE item and then tried to play it off like it was some “mistake.” Please. That wasn’t an accident — that was a scam, plain and simple, and it looked like they were planning to pocket the extra cash.
This isn’t just bad service, it’s theft. If they’ll do it to me, they’ll do it to anyone. Check your receipts because they clearly can’t be trusted. I’ll never set foot in this Dairy Queen again, and I strongly suggest everyone else stay far away from this location.

This place has been going downhill lately and tonight was the last time I will ever spend money at this store. Sat in the drive thru for 15 minutes while the workers were chatting and not taking orders, just pure laziness. My girlfriend and I got two hot fudge sundaes and whenever we got them, they were melted with hardly any hot fudge and when it made a huge mess in my truck. Not going to be surprised if this place ends up losing business.
Update: Went inside to trade out the unopened sundae and the lady said “our machine has been messing up” as the ice cream came out just fine. What an excuse that was….

Out of 10 times I have been here, I have only been able to get chocolate ice cream twice. Visited this location 3-19-25 and ordered a large chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard made with chocolate ice cream. Once again they had no chocolate ice cream and there were maybe 4 pieces of cookie dough in the entire blizzard. Never had these problems at the Rockingham location.

I came to the drive through today and ordered a 4 piece sauce n toss meal $11 meal and the staff forgot my drink and the food was cold and not fresh. I called the manager and drove back to the restaurant for a refund back to my bank card. The manager never apologized or tried to make it right. This is such an inconvenience,

Third time going to this location and being charged way too much. Last thing I ordered was a 4 piece tender combo with a blizzard for the drink. Price came out to almost 16 dollars. I’ll stick with the Dq in rocking
