The food has been just ok the past times we have visited but it was very good tonight, and the Brownie Cupfection was great (had once before and for some reason it was not nearly as good). The service is what stood out. The ice cream came out quick and for the first time in my 30 years we had an employee (manager maybe?) check on us to make sure everything was going well with our visit. He went to each table to check and it was fairly busy. It was also very clean and everything was well stocked at the table. The employees working tonight we’re definitely on top of their game.

I had a birthday this past weekend and it’s a tradition in our family to get a Dairy Queen ice cream cake. It has been a tradition for nearly 30 years. Upon ordering the cake for pickup, I asked if I could have double the cookie & fudge filling in the middle. I was told yes, they do that and they will. Well, when it was time to cut into the cake that everyone was eagerly anticipating, not only was there not a double layer of anything, but between the two layers of ice cream was a layer of cookie crumbles and NO fudge. I was under the impression that the cookie and fudge layers are frozen together before they get put in the cake (I’ve seen them be made before) and wanted two of those layers. I was very clear about my order.

The place is terribly slow. The orders are always wrong. The whole number thing, where they take your order and give you a number is a joke. Either they bring you the wrong order, or they bring you your order without the correct toppings. Also, the ice cream is melted before you even get the thing. Whatever management processes they are using, are simply rediculous. After all the years Dairy Queen has been around, you’d think they’d have figured out how to take and order and give it to you quickly and correctly. We saw many people totally exasperated by the incompetent employees working at this place, and the silly procedures being used to run the place. They absolutely need better management. In addition, when you finally get the toppings you ordered, they are so small you’re not sure what you’re being charged for, such as a little dab of whipped cream, and a pinch of nuts being called a serving. What is happening to this country? DQ used to be a dependable place to get a sundae or a cone–not any more.

Needless to say this was my first visit and will be my last, not only was I rushed but I got napkins thrown at me. This is absolutely absurd. The cashier you as his name was Thomas, such a rude inconsiderate kid I’ve ever met. He shouldn’t be working the register, have him clean toilets. At least he would have a reason to be rude.

Go there for the blizzards but they need to do a better job blending them. But still very awesome blizzards!! This is my local DQ and the customer service is great. When school is really popular with the kids, they chill and have fun.

first they took like 5 minutes to take our 2 ice cream orders. then the workers are fighting in the background. then they forgot our order for like 15 minutes and when we go to the front to let them know they pretend like we aren’t there and they can’t see us for like 3 minutes and then the one girl that came up to us lowkey looked annoyed and THEN they tell us they have no brownies. at a dairy queen. bffr. so we got whatever we saw first bc we panicked. AND OUR BLIZZARDS WERE MELTED. we basically ate soup. anyways get it together guys
