Stopped by this DQ for a treat, and while the ice cream was absolutely delicious (as always!), the customer service left a lot to be desired. The staff seemed disorganized and not very friendly, he didn’t appreciate us asking questions about the menu.
That said, the hot fudge parfait was spot on and totally hit the spot. If you’re just swinging by for the ice cream and don’t mind a wait, it’s worth it. Hopefully the service improves, because the treats definitely deliver!

Saturday night in August. Been in drive thru line a half hour. Still got 3 cars to go. Guy up front asking if anyone is there. Oh it’s my turn! What? The shake machine is being cleaned and the hot fudge sundae isn’t available at this time? Couldn’t of out a sign out front before I waited in that line?

On Monday day June 3, 2024 when I went to get a Sundae, I ordered the Sundae and the two young adults serving were wonderful. However, they gave me something I didn’t want and when I asked them if I could exchange it, they were fine and the manager came over and was one of the rudest people I have ever met. I hope that maybe the owner of the franchise will see this review and talk to this young woman because she was a real, bit— you know the rest.

I have gone to this particular Dairy Queen ever since I was a kid for the past 22 years. The Ice Cream goes perfectly with the beach! You won’t be disappointed. I reccomend getting a treat from here after having Bill’s Pizza and/or Pier Fries before, both of which are right next door. This is a must-visit staple of Old Orchard Beach.

Thank you for providing dairy free options for my wife who cannot have dairy – I think it was called a dilly bar and she loved it. I have been enjoying Oreo Blizzards here for over 30 years as a nice cool treat – they make it the same every time!

Went to get ice cream at 10:15 and the employee closed the door in our faces. So rude. Why say your open till 11 when your gonna intentionally close early while there are still paying customers at the window.
