I’m not sure why the rating for this DQ is so low? The atmosphere is amazing. Whoever is behind the counter choosing the music deserves a raise. This DQ is a great stop when going to and from Cape Arago or Sunset Beach. The food is always good and quick.

Worst customer service ever from this woman who told me they don’t have a scanner and walks away. I called her over and aske how can I use my points then? To be met with “you’ll have to figure it out on the app. None of us know how to use the app.” I said the other dairy queen has a scanner. She wants to stand there and argue with me about the other dairy queen having a scanner. (I know it does i worked there and had to use it.) I asked to speak to a manager twice. She finally goes to get one. The manager is super blah about it. She says “I’ll just give you one.” Even though at this point it would have been nice to just have someone explain to me how to use the points at this store. Out of curiosity I called the other Dairy Queen to confirm them having a scanner while standing out front being dog eyed by this red head and some teenage girl with bleach blonde hair and a pink strip. So while on the phone with other dairy queen I walk in and inform them that the other dairy queen has a scanner. To which the red head starts yelling at me to get out of here. I tried to get her picture because no one wears a name tag. Then she went and hid in the corner. And then she starts shouting at me through the drive through window to not come back. I guess being proved wrong must have upset her. I have seen another person post a pic of the woman hiding her face and talking about her attitude. I think the owner should do something about this she is clearly not a good employee.

So I don’t know what’s going on but it’s 2:30 in the afternoon the hours of operation post on the door say they’re supposed to be open but the door is locked and nobody’s here and it’s not a holiday. No note or anything on the door or Windows saying why they’re closed.

The girl working the drive-thru was giggling while trying to take my order. I wondered if she was going to forget something on my order. Drive – thru window was getto and needs to be replaced.

Took the longest time to get our food, and when we did they forgot half of it. We reminded them once, but the lady was too busy to even help us. We asked her again after 25 mins and then it finally came out. I think they either need more workers or somthing because it was terrible.

We used the app to order ice cream treats on Mother’s Day. We were in the parking lot while placing the order and by the time we made it inside and could grab the attention of the employees, the ice creams they gave us were completely melted into liquid. We ordered three blizzard and two pb parfaits. The blizzards were soft but edible so we took those to the kids in the car. The parfaits were literally completely liquified and when we asked them to remake them we were met with attitude and defiance. It was disappointing to be treated this way over ice cream. Although they did remake them, they treated us like we were trying to scam them. In the future we will hesitate to go back to this Dairy Queen as there are several other choices in the area. We don’t need to be treated this way.
