This is a nice area to stop at for a break from a roadtrip on the 89A. Beautiful here and well worth taking time to do a bit of hiking and walking. Across 89A, it is well worth taking walk and seeing Oak Creek. Very pretty and lush forest area. Dairy Queen has the usual standard menu and good for a quick bite while taking a road trip break. What makes the stop worth while here is the scenery as well as the Indian Jewelry Market that is also on the lot. During a stop here, take the time to walk around and get great photos.

Dairy Queen had great customer service. They were fast and the food was good. The jewelry stands in front of the Dairy queen before entering have the most beautiful handmade Native American jewelry and very reasonably priced. It’s worth the stop.

As usual a very delicious DQ Blizzard, particularly good because of the service provided by (I think) my namesake Joshua, he was excellent!

This place just APEARED out of nowhere as we came around a mountain and over the bridge looking for a hiking location. They beautiful ladies were out side with all of their appealing stones and trinkets. If you can make it through the gauntlet of tables without spending all of your money, you will be greater by some of the nices people ever. It’s Dairy Queen, so the food is the food. You either like it or not, but the service was and conversations were the best. Great find and they told us about another hiking spot that was actually amazing and not a crowded.

Good location just outside of Sedona, but I’m assuming the staff is new or has not received any training. We ordered a large blizzard, which seemed a bit high at $10. The employee literally just filled the cup with vanilla ice cream and sprinkled some toppings on top. When we asked him to mix it in like how a blizzard is supposed to be his response was that we could do that ourselves with a spoon. That was the limit of his solutions and what he was willing to do for us.

The best Dairy Queen around! Up in beautiful Oak Creek Canyon, has a fun gift shop inside as well as the shops outside where you can buy homemade jewelry. Definitely a stop not to miss!

This is the best Dairy Queen I’ve ever been to in my life. There’s an incredible market in the parking lot featuring goods from local Navajo artists, in the store itself there’s a cute gift shop and the menu had a few unique items I had never seen before! Luckily Josh (maybe one of the most passionate and engaged person i’ve ever met) was there to explain Puppy Chow and sell me on my first churro dipped cone. I was not disappointed! Thank you Josh!

5 stars for just being on the way to Sedona! Who doesn’t want a yummy affordable treat either going to or from one of the most beautiful locations on earth! Their prices are not inflated like you’ll find at most other locations. They are in line with othe DQ’s.

So there’s a DQ here, but we stopped for the Native crafts tents. Beautiful work and good prices for handmade Native jewelry with natural stones and precious metals.
