I am giving this place 4 out of 5 stars based on how much the new owners are doing to clean up and remodel the existing building. I think they are making good progress on the work they are doing to modernize it. I am also glad to see some of the employees stay over with the new owners. I also noticed they have brought in a young and enthusiastic assistant manager which makes a big difference in keeping things running!

Great managers and district managers. I called in after my daughter was treated rudely, and I was greeted with nothing but solutions and apologetic kind people willing to help make things better. After many phone calls, I had to come and delete my prior review because this establishment took responsibility and heard me out! Great people, and food btw!

Cheyenne was the person at the window and she did an amazing job! I got 2 large dip cones and a blizzard. She put the dip cones in holder for me so they wouldn’t drip. One of the friendliest people I’ve ever dealt with at any restaurant. Thank you Cheyenne for being awesome and giving great customer service. I’ll definitely come back because of Cheyenne.

I usually go through the drive through at this location. The staff are welcoming and I generally don’t have to repeat my order 4 times like other places. The meal is made when you order, so you may have to wait a couple minutes to get it, but it comes out hot, fresh, and satisfying. My only gripe is the narrow lane for the drive through. If you’ve got a larger vehicle, I hope you know how to swang that thang lol

I’ve been going to that Dairy Queen off and on for 40 years. Tonight I had the worst burnt cheeseburger. The last few times were not good either. The cook was not happy about me asking for a replacement. Something seems off there. I will say the front refunded me. So that was nice.

Update: Haven’t dined in since my first review. Only do drive-thru. Food still decent. I think they people there are over worked and under paid. They always seem exhausted when I order. Not usually very happy. But they are not rude. Just seem exhausted. Their parking lot is full of potholes.

This Dairy Queen is the best one in this county. I mean the food was very fresh and hot. The people are very friendly and professional. I’m willing to bypass the one in Angleton just to get to the one in West Columbia. That’s saying a lot because I stay in Freeport. Any time we want Dairy Queen, we WILL make that drive to West Columbia. Well worth it.

Facility NEEDS TO BE DEEPLY CLEANED. Food was substandard. Ordering & kitchen crew NEED help. All need more training desperately. Wait, time was horrible, especially for what we ordered. Hopefully, the corp will come in and clean up.
