My wife and I recently moved to Dallas and wanted to try the new menu items DQ has, I was a former DQ employee so it has always held a special place in my heart. This most recent experience has hurt that special place… the employees seemed as though I was bothering the asking them to do their jobs, and where very slow and uncoordinated. After waiting almost 20 minutes longer than our estimated mobile order time they had forgot our drinks and blizzard, after asking about getting them, they handed us two cups and then I had two wait 5 minutes after being stared at by one of the 5 employees to explain I had upgraded to a blizzard, that the employee then had no idea how to make… it alo was not served upside down per company policy then after leaving because I was pulling my hair out. We found our taco we ordered was only meat inside a taco shell no lettuce, no tomato, no cheese… we the saw what looked like a manager walk in the building carrying store bought milk, cream, and lettuce. However they were not out because my sandwich had a heap of it on there. To top it all off my wife had ordered chicken strips with soft serve as we had never heard of it and thought it would be fun and surprise surprise it wasn’t soft serve it was boiling hot gravy that burnt her mouth quite bad. So after an almost hour long experience to get quite literally nothing we ordered and it all being wrong or cold and slimy I would recommend walking the staff through everything you want and do not use the mobile order as it will likely be vey wrong.

Great experience. Food was good, but the service was excellent. We were taken care of by Tracy during our visit and she was fantastic. She has great customer service skills and as a former Store Manager myself, I can definitely see a leadership role in her future. We will definitely be back.

I would rate the food at a 5 star rating except for the blizzards. I absolutely love the steak finger basket it’s delicious and the gravy is great. But I also ordered the mini blizzard and I was shocked that a lid was put on and then it was almost 1/2 empty. The 2 pictures are of when I received it. Once I put the spoon in it hit the bottom. It was fluffy and once I flipped it over it started to come out of the cup. I know prices have gone up and portions are bound to be smaller, but this treat wasn’t such a treat to me. Hopefully this was just a fluke and the next blizzard I get will be better.

Dry burger. Over cooked onion rings. I don’t recommend this Dairy Queen. I ordered through the drive thru and it took about 25 minutes for my order to be ready.

I had the pleasure of being helped by Laura . Personality and customer service is top tier ! I had a bad experience at another fast food chain which prompted me to leave and come here. My interaction with Laura changed my whole mood for the better in a matter of 2 minutes just by being herself! She’s the absolute best! Oh, and my food is always hot and fresh!

We love ordering the ice cream cakes for birthdays, etc at Dairy Queen’s. This location doesn’t sell the cakes, though. The service to just go by the drive through or even inside is extremely slow. Sometimes the lines are long. The desserts are amazing and this is the reason I keep going back.

Visit, Wait, Eat! This is a local/neighborhood place. Not in the best part of Mesquite by no means, however it’s close to a major park and is nestled in a major road that links old Mesquite to Town East Mall. The major issue is the limited drive thru. It’s so compact that when a line grows, you’ll find your car in the middle of the road instead of the Dairy Queen property. That’s another issue of concern due to the very long wait you’ll endure. That’s particularly true when the park has a lot of patrons, but even when there’s little traffic, then are still just plain slow. Now to the food. It’s fairly good. They honor the time tested Dairy Queen cuisine. The place is not as clean as I would prefer, but they are definitely not a health hazzard. I would say that if you’re in the area and have a hunkering for their famous Blizzards or Chicken Fried Steak Fingers to give them a visit!

This is the worst DQ I have been to that I can remember. I grew up with 3 in my hometown and the one by my old house is just like home. This one is spotty due to two workers who seems to control the narrative in drive-through and at the counter all other workers are great otherwise…if they are there you’re likely to get iffy service according to how their day is going. Upper mgmt can’t be there all the time to relay how their service should be. It has gotten to the point that I don’t want their food and willing to drive to the next exit 3 miles from my home to avoid the horrible service and I live and work a couple of minutes from the restaurant. Until they do better avoid this place.
