My fiance and I went to grab shakes st night. Just two shakes. One chocolate, and the new banana split shake they promote.
The staff there not only give us the wrong item (some kind of half assed blizzard), but said item was overfilled and melting. The clerk, a middle aged man, just pushed us along and told us to have a good one without the courtesy to give us napkins. So she’s got ice cream all over her.
I go in to tell them 1) You give us the wrong item, and 2) This thing is a disaster. The clerk cleaning (bless her) seemed to be the only helpful clerk. She even got us napkins. She took it back to let her team know. What followed was absolute bickering and disgruntled behavior. No efforts to correct or assess the situation. They claimed they had the right item. We even heard one in the back making side commentary about “its just a blizzard bro, chill”.
What’s more frustrating is that even at the end, they gave us the wrong item still, a completely different shake. And once again, they moved us along, not even bothering to realize what had happened.
Im not the kind of person to really complain like this. I work in retail, I get it. But this level of unprofessionalism has to be addressed by management.

Ordered a strawberry New York cheesecake blizzard, and every time they screw it up, either the workers are too lazy to mix it properly and get globs of mixture all on the bottom or mostly on top, most the time theres next to no strawberry in there…..this particular time it had the top quarter mixed probably but 3/4 of the ice cream underneath was just plain vanilla ice cream, and not to mention globs of strawberry and syrup on top!! Given them so many chances to make it right, but this time really just pissed me off, tired of ordering and they get it wrong one way or the other every single time! Done ordering from this location, what’s the damn point!!!!!! Don’t order anything from Hillsdale, they suck

I went there and bought a banana split, I pulled away and drove down the road to then look at it and realize it was only half made. I already had to wait for it longer. Tell me why i got vanilla ice cream. A banana. And some chocolate syrup. Thats all. Sounds like a half made banana split to me.

I had a fantastic experience at this Dairy Queen! The store was clean, well-organized, and welcoming. What really stood out was the staff — they were friendly, fast, and genuinely seemed to care about each customer. You can tell they work well as a team and take pride in what they do. My order was perfect, and everything tasted fresh. Definitely one of the best DQ locations I’ve been to. Keep up the great work!
