Didn’t realize this location wasn’t a drive thru, but it was alright, I wanted a milkshake and they wasn’t busy. The service was extremely fast, not a whole lotta friendly but definitely fast. Asked if I wanted whipped cream and a cherry for my shake, well hell yes I do for almost $6.

Want to make sure it is understood that this rating is only for this Dairy Queen in Haines City. We walked into the store, with our masks on, to get the new Girls Scout Mint Cookie Blizzard. We have been seriously looking forward to having one and we happen to be there for an errand in town. Only one person was sitting at a table waiting for something. Two or three people were working, we weren’t sure who was in the back. Neither person said hi, or acknowledged us at all. We were ignored completely waiting to be helped. After between 5-10 minutes of standing there we just left and never got our Blizzards. If they would have at least said, “Hi, we’ll be with you in a moment” we would have waited. Guess I’ll have to wait for this Blizzard until I go to the Lakeland DQ. BEST ever service there.

I ordered a small vanilla dipped in chocolate cone. It was ready quickly and was $2.13 with tax.
The location seems a little dated in decor and some hard seats to site in store to enjoy your treats.
It has some reach in freezers with cakes, boxes and individual selections of DQ items like Dilly Bars, and ice cream sandwiches.
You order on the left side and then MO e to right side to wait for them to make your order.
The seasonal offerings of Blizzards like cotton candy, raspberry fudge and frosted animal cookie look exciting and fun.
The hand scooped section had some fun flavors too.

We purchased an Oreo Cake for a Birthday Party today because that was the birthday girl’s favorite cake. Once we cut the cake it was chocolate with pecans inside. There was no oreos in the cake. We all realized it once everyone had a piece. Some of my family cannot eat nuts due to having diverticulitis. We paid $34 for a cake that was not oreo but something completely different. And ended up tossing the cake. We also weren’t provided a receipt with a barcode. What a disappointing experience. I will not be purchasing another cake from Dairy Queen.

I went there to get an ice cream cake for my son, they are the best. And I decide to order a cheese and bacon fries. They were horrible, I think the fries are reheated and the cheese was gummy and nasty. Sorry but not again.

GREAT ice cream. Terrible food. Use this location for all your DQ ice cream needs, but skip the food options.
The poor, obviously overworked employees seemed like they don’t get a lot of food orders and didn’t quite know what to do. Not their fault.
Hotdog buns was almost too stale to bite, and the chicken was… strange. Old maybe? The gravy that came with the chicken was very gelatinous like it was pretty old too.
The icecream, however was perfect. Blizzards had loads of candy, well mixed and presented well. Delicious.

With how much I’m paying and the fact that I’ve been to dq many times before this is a spit of fries for my combo. Do better. You make my favorite place look bad.

Absolutely horrible! Service was not acceptable. Ordered first and was served last! They must do better.
