Waited 15 minutes on food, ice cream melted, was told I could not get a refund on an item I did not have time for them to replace that they left out the first time. And I witnessed the same happen to one other while in line. Have heard bad things about management here in the past can’t say about now. Used to be great

Is anybody else’s food just so bad??? I officially give up on this place. Dairy Queen is already expensive, which I am fine paying for good quality food, but everything is just so bad. I currently have a slushy that has no flavoring and at least a cup of random liquid. 75% of the time I get food, I can tell it’s been sitting under a heating lamp. Heck even my toast tastes horrible half of the time. At this point, I’d recommend going to sheetz or Wendy’s. I am over paying so much money for food that tastes like garbage

I have gotten this salad several times and it has never looked this horrible! It looks like it’s half eaten. The half tomato? Usually it comes with chopped tomato. For an $8 salad this is pitiful! I was so disappointed.

It is an hour before the restaurant closes. I got here at 8:43 and they said through the intercom to give them just a moment, and then didn’t come back for 9 minutes. When they came back to the intercom, they told me to pull up to the window to order. Now, I’ve been at this window for 14 minutes without them opening it or saying a word. This is ridiculous. I’ve seen multiple cars behind me leave and I haven’t even ordered. Shame.

This is the 2nd time in 6 weeks that I have brought my wife and sons to sit down at your restaurant and the 2nd time that the dining room was closed. Please try to have your dining room open. It said closed from 5pm until 7:30pn at 6:05pm on Sunday. I hope the owner sees this as I saw two other customers leave.

New owners are extremely rude! I ordered food to go it took them 15 minutes to bring it up. Said something about it and got laughed at! There’s always something going on in there this place needs to just be shut down.

I ordered dinner for my family from this location 3/11/24 (today) at around 8:30pm.
My wife ordered a chili cheese dog.
She bit into the dog and chewed a few times before realizing it was sour, and was able to spit most of it out.
Upon examining the hot dog, it has a slight iridescent green hue to it, along with spotted and steaking discoloration, the most noted discoloration was a really “off” red hue.
When she called and asked to speak with the manager, the manager was heard to be yelling across the room at some poor teenager and refused to speak on the phone.
The pictures of this thing doesn’t do it justice .. it looks a fair bit greener, and has an odor to it.
This experiece has put me off wanting to eat at Dairy Queen.
I am going to report this to the health department.
Speaking of inspections, if after reading this review you still choose to eat at dairy queen, at least inspect your food before taking a bite!

I wasn’t going to leave a review but this needs to be handled. I’m from out of town and I’m not sure how you all are even open. The young people there lack respect and basic customer service. The food tasted horrible and the behind their counters looked as if it never been touched the whole day! If I could give less than 1 star due to service I would. It was clear some staff were either exhausted or frankly didn’t care about how well of a job they do. Never will pass by here again! You all suck! Do better “management”.

If I could give them a great big fat ZERO, I absolutely would! I’m not one to complain because I work with the public every day myself and I know what it’s like. But today showed me just how inconsiderate and selfish and disrespectful that this generation really is. I’ve been a dedicated customer to this specific DQ for several years, but I won’t be going back. I only get 30 minutes for lunch and I travel from Lavalette to the West End DQ at least 4 days a week. The past several times that I’ve been there I’ve been treated horrible. A couple of the little young girls at the drive thru window are VERY rude! I always always ask at the speaker for “a medium Oreo blizzard with a lid on it please”, occasionally I get a total, but most of the time I’m just told to drive on around for my total. I understand that they have to flip the Blizzards before they hand it out, it’s a requirement, I get it, it’s totally fine. So I always have to ask a second time for a lid, and that’s okay too.. but when I told her that I had asked for a lid, she said “I know you did”, roller her eyes at me and act like it was an inconvenience to do her job. Then she half ass shoved a lid on it and the other lady tried to hand it out the window like that. I asked again for the lid to be ON it because I’m driving a standard shift and I couldn’t babysit the cup while I drive. I didn’t want to get ice cream in my car. The one lady politely scraped the overflow off the top, put a new lid on it, and wiped the melted ice cream off. While she was doing so, the one little smart ass girl opened up the window and gave me the stank face then proceeded to ask me if I had a problem. I told her that she didn’t have to be a smart ass and she smarted mouthed back trying to argue with me. The same little girl was rude to me at the speaker just a couple days ago, I told her nevermind I would go somewhere else for lunch. She’s rolled her eyes at me a couple times when I’ve asked for a lid or for her to wipe the melted ice cream off of the cup. The thing in the drive thru the other day almost made me not go back but I gave her the benefit of the doubt in hopes that she’d just been having a bad day, and maybe was having a bad day the last 3-4 times I’d been there. Nope, I was dead wrong. She’s just rude, plain and simple. This time I drew the line. She needs to get rid of her nasty attitude and treat people with respect. You can’t treat people like that and expect them to come back to your business in the future or not leave a bad review. You’re gonna lose a lot of customers if you keep that kind of employees around your business. I know one thing, my dedication is no more.. It’s not just the one girl, there’s a couple other young girls there that act like they’re above others. As bad as I hate to say it, I’ll never go back to the West End DQ, ever!!
