Dairy King is family owned/operated since 1951 and is unique in many ways. It truly is a place Where Friends Meet Friends. The menu is huge plus has gluten free and vegetarian options. The dining room can accommodate large groups. The drive thru convenience or calling in advance makes it easy. We have concept of fast food but every order is made to order when ordered. We also grind our burger and assure that our food quality is always at the highest standard. Also the local soda SKI is served can be mixed with many flavors. Shakes and concretes concoctions are endless. Definitely small town friendliness and respect. A great tradition of getting food, drink and ice cream has been shared with many families and friends.

They have an easy to read menu with zero too little wait times. Food is always ready promptily and freshly made. I ordered a extra large rainbow ski with an order of mozzarella sticks and chicken strips with ranch and marinara sauce, I would definitely recommend this buissness two new customers especially if you are passing through Trenton, illinois.

Looking for a decent greasy burger joint? This is your spot! I’d classify this as a tastier version of Culver’s burgers. The onion rings were good, although i wasn’t a huge fan of the thick breading. They have a wide menu, so I’m sure you can find something you’ll like. The burger meat was seasoned very well. Not sure if I would seek this place out more than a couple times a year, but it’s a good spot for a burger.

Okay, I have been going the Dairy King for many years( way more than what I want to admit to,) but while many locals will consider this an attack on a sacred cow, they are just pricing themselves way out of any Market I would want to participate in. When you spend over $40 at this type of restaurant and get very, very little for your money, it’s enough to turn you off. With only 2 sandwiches, and Order chicken strips that cost $7, 1 order of fries, an order of onion rings and three Sundays totaling almost $44, that’s just a little insane! We got 8 onion rings in an order and attached to this comment will be pictures showing some of the sizes, you may realize why I am commenting as I am. Go for the icecream but beware of getting a good value with the food, as I wouldn’t recommend it.

Small sandwich with not much meat unfortunately wasn’t worth $10 or the long wait in line. It was fresh and hot and service was friendly. I would just order something else next time!

We went through the drive through here on our way through town because we saw that they have Gluten Free buns. Two members of our family are gluten free, so this made dinner on the road easy for once!
The food was great, and the employees were wonderful. One of our orders was wrong, so we had to hang out at the drive-thru window for a few minutes, but they fixed it for us as soon as they saw us sitting there.
I would definitely go here again!

We have been going to Trenton location after chiropractor for years and they always had fresh hot fries – Not any more. We quit going awhile back because of this but decided to give it another try today, my husband loves their dbl bacon cheeseburgers. The fries were warm, not hot, and over cooked, to brown. Since it was Thursday I wanted to try the bacon potato soup. It was soured. We took it back to counter and asked them to taste their soup to see if it was in fact soured and yes it was. She said they only make it twice a week and it must have gone bad on them. Soup shouldn’t go bad in 3 days. Regardless, due to sub par fries the last several times, and now serving soured potato soup, I am done. My husband can get his dbl bacon cheeseburger but I will no longer eat there, which makes me sad, as we always couldn’t wait to get there and dive in to the best fries we had ever had. Always hot and cooked to perfection.
I got chicken noodle to replace potato soup, which flavor was good, but the cup was only partially filled, barely more than half. For $5.41 they could fill very small cup within 1/4 to 1/2 inch of top.
You know the last time we were there a gal came and asked how everything was and we told her fries were not hot a day she apologized and said they just had a meeting regarding that – sorry to say it didn’t change things.

We picked the wrong night to try them. I think all the surrounding schools had some type of game that night. So was definitely loud and crowded. Customer service was great. The food was ok. I have definitely had worse. I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it again but if I was driving past I would stop.

This place provides some of the best memories to me, my friends, and my family. The fried green beans are delicious. Their strawberry milkshake has an option for real strawberries. The girls’ bathroom is always clean. Some of the friends that I’ve brought to Dairy King have come and gone, but it’s the type of place where I keep bringing more people to make new memories. Bring your loved ones here and enjoy a treat. You won’t regret it
