The lady who took my boyfriend and I’s order was nice but I had asked for a strawberry cone but in a cup. To me that would be a cone with strawberry ice cream flipped over in a bowl. It was just a bowl of strawberry ice cream. I was kinda disappointed because that ice cream has been my pregnancy craving for weeks. Then my boyfriend got a strawberry cone and the cone was hallow. I personally think if your going to open up an ice cream shop and work by yourself then you need to be able to understand how to make ice cream orders.

My wife got a hollow. Some got they managed to get the ice cream on the brim of the cone. I was delighted when I got my twister. I said to myself wow… They really put a lot of butterfinger in this thing!! Turns out they only blended the top 1/4 and the rest was just vanilla ice cream

Apparently they close the kitchen down an hour and a half before the actual closing time…unless you’re friends with one of the girls working there. I couldn’t get a shredded chicken sandwich at 7:15 with a 9pm closing time but the young girl that ordered while I was waiting on my shake got her chicken sandwich. I guess it’s all about who you know.

Everything was great except the flavor of the purple cow ice cream. The original purple cow was blackberry with chunks of chocolate in it, not grape. Other than that, they have some of the best ice cream around. Service was awesome as well as the atmosphere. Good job Dairy Isle!

Every time I come here we are standing around forever for our order not only are we paying double the prices now but kids that work there are gonna screw around while we’ve been standing outside for 40 minutes waiting on our food and they said oh I’m sorry they must not have made your order while they called everybody else’s name out that had not even been there that long But I guess them screwing around at work is more important than the people that are actually waiting for their orders

I have been going here for years and I’ve always been very satisfied with everything. The reason my family and I always go there is because we thought we got a bang for our buck. But stopping there Tuesday, I was really surprised at how small a medium ice cream cone had gotten for $3. I was puzzled when we pulled up that there was nobody in the lot. Now I understand, to say the least, I was very disappointed. I know everybody has to adjust accordingly, but I think it was a little excessive. Sorry Dairy Isle, I have to stay true.
