I mean what do I say- it’s our local ice cream shop and we love it!! It’s got all you would expect – the shredded chicken sandwiches, chicken strips are GOOD ones, fried pickles, their version of a Blizzard, slushes for the non dairy need, cheeseburgers, etc. Love my caramel sundae with the warm caramel sauce!

I waited in line for 30 minutes and none of cars moved forward. No orders were being taken. No one came out to tell us why. I guess this is what you get with a bunch of college and high school kids run the place. They take care of window and friends. This place is not worth my time ever again.

Prices are very fair, huge selection of fried veggies, like french fries, pickles, cauliflower, mushrooms and maybe a few more.
Good service, fast and friendly.

Great family owned atmosphere. Cook to order food and delicious ice cream. Amazing milkshakes and snow storms. Built in the 1950s so a long standing place. New Concord wouldn’t be New Concord with out knowing about the Dairy Duchess.

I don’t actually think anyone in town needs to see a review of this place but I felt like writing it anyway. Dairy Duchess essentially IS summer. In the same way that a certain smell can trigger a memory in your mind, this place triggers thoughts and memories of summer. So many afternoons spent working away in the humidity of summer on the farm and then stopping by here afterwards. I didn’t grow up here but eating the ice cream on a stupidly hot summer day makes me feel like I’ve been here my whole life. Thanks for reading.

This place has good food and great shakes, however the time you spend in line and the time you spend waiting to get your food is horrible. I always expect to wait 10 to 15 minutes if less then 3 customers are there. If you plan to go through the drive thru you better hope the person in front don’t order food. This is NOT a place for a quick bite to eat.
