I had a long day at work and the weather was perfect for a little sweet treat. I’ve passed this place twice a day for over a year and have never stopped. The planets aligned today and I stopped for a rootbeer float and a hot dog I have to say it was super cheap 6 bucks for a dog and float. The menu and selection was very large on both treats and food. The float was nothing fancy just rootbeer and vanilla icecream just what I asked for and went down great with my hot dog. The staff was friendly and everything was served up quickly. The place has been open since 1956 and I can see why they’re still in business. Thanks for the great cap to my day.

Their “small” chocolate dipped cone was really huge. Should not have tried to drive and eat at the same time. This is a “must do” stop, when working in Belle Chasse.
