Mark is the greatest. Loved his recommendations as well as his energy! Jewel was a jewel as well (pun intended Lol). Came for a birthday celebration and was not disappointed at all!!! I got the Chipotle Egg burrito (subbed bacon for sausage) and the cinnamon roll for the birthday man (my brother pictured) and of course we got the mimosa tower. Don’t walk, run here and try it out today!!!!

I have driven by several times since the change over from Big Boy and was intrigued by the beautifully refreshed outside transformation. After my visit this weekend, I can sincerely tell you that everything from the charming decor, cozy ambience, to the fresh and flavorful nutritious-forward menu, they’ve successfully hit all the marks for a perfect brunch/breakfast/ lunch spot! We were immediately welcomed in and seated by Ralph, one of the owners and for being first timers, he truly made us feel like family. His sincerity and passion for his business is one of the biggest standouts for me when it comes to small businesses. I love when owners are hands-on in their restaurant and really support the team, as it makes the experience so much more genuine. He came over during our meal and spoke to us about the inspiration behind the dishes and I was interested to hear that their first location is in Tempe, Arizona. He explained that his mission was to bring some Southwestern flavors into their restaurants here in metro Detroit. He offered us a sample of the nitro cold brew which is delicious for an iced coffee lover!
The menu offers a variety of fresh selections from omelettes, breakfast burritos and tacos, benedicts, sandwiches, to homestyle waffles. I was impressed by the variety of beverages featuring Great Lakes Coffee Co. products, mimosa and martini flights, espresso martinis, and fresh fruit smoothies. They have 8 different juice selections for you to create-your-own mimosa flights, with unique flavors like pomegranate and prickly pear! Everything is made with fresh, local ingredients, and I could taste the quality in every bite! Their waffles are the absolute best I’ve ever had. They prepare them in a special griddle, cooked quickly at 2 minutes and 30 seconds, creating this warm, pillowy soft delight and served with real maple syrup- the ultimate classic comfort dish! I ordered the sunshine bowl with bacon and added avocado. We also ordered the truffle omelette. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and was the perfect combo of flavors. Their grilled potatoes- OMG… whatever seasoning they used was so delicious! I am so glad we stopped in today and I’m really looking forward to trying more of their menu!

Amazing! Such a cute and clean interior that is super welcoming. We watched the lions game here and had brunch. We had iced caramel lattes, mimosas, a burrito & an eggs benedict – everything was perfect. They have gluten free options as well. Owner Ralph came over and greeted us, and our server Christian was awesome as well. Definitely will come back!

Delicious and unique offerings. It’s a comfy and well decorated little spot that tastes like there’s a chef making the food. 10/10 will be back again soon!

Wanted to love this new find in Grosse Pointe, and although the service and ambiance nailed it, the menu execution did not hit. The assortment of menu items is intriguing and sounds delicious, the execution of all items we ordered missed the mark. The Bloody Mary is lackluster and the celery wasn’t even trimmed. Chicken and waffles seemed to be shaken out of a frozen food bag. And the jalapeno popper toast… although sounding so amazing..was rather pathetic. The store bought bread was limp and barely grilled. The guac smear was a suggestion, the jarred pickled jalapenos didn’t save it, and the bacon was cold and could have been fried yesterday.

The owners are sweet and attentive, along with the rest of the wait staff. I hope the kitchen can evolve to make this a better destination.

The farmers Benedict is so fresh and delicious!
I was so impressed I ordered a cold sandwich with turkey, Anjou pear and cheese to take to work. The owner Anthony was so very kind and pleased when I asked to speak to him. I wanted him to know how refreshing the restaurant environment is compared to other restaurants. Not to mention the staff is also very friendly.

Very clean and open. My husband said the coffee was the best he’s had in a long time and he usually doesn’t notice anything different with coffee. He was hoping for a few more hearty or carnivore heavy option minus veggies, lol. I saw several things I would try but settled on the pear omelet because I’ve never had fruit in my omelet and I liked that it had Harvard cheese. The meal was the right amount of filling, not too heavy. My husband got the red velvet waffles and added the apple cinnamon nut topping. He had hoped the topping would also have an apple drizzle as he doesn’t do syrup but he finished it all. I will be excited to take my daughter and my sister when they come to visit.

Stoped in for Lunch…what a pleasant surprise! Very nice and comfortable atmosphere, excellent service, fresh interesting menu and delicious food. My waiter Mark was very personable and helpful at explaining the menu choices since it was my first time there. He even made a few recommendations. I took his advice and ordered the classic eggs benedict….Wonderful! I look forward to my next visit and trying one of their salads or sandwiches. I’ve got a new weekend brunch spot!
