The food was very good and they have aor of vegetarian options, which is awesome. The wait was very long but the food was delicious. These carts don’t have much ambiance but there are a lot of choices which is nice. I would recommend this cart if you are a vegetarian. I got the veggie coconut korma mild, it was awesome.

The latter was very bad. I ordered lamb and got fried beef. Two months ago, I ordered lamb and got rotten lamb. I ordered it through Uber. The taste is very good. Just the quality is terrible.

The container for the Tikka Masala was a quarter full, which equals about a half pint of food, and is literally just shitty tomato soup and not the creamy rich kind. The naan is VERY far from naan, its about an inch thick, looks more like an uncut slab of bread sticks from Little Ceasers, and dry as HELL. Absolute worst Indian food, or food in general, I’ve ever ordered on Uber Eats. Beyond disappointing and a waste of money, thankfully Uber Eats gave an almost full refund. Don’t bother ordering unless you want overpriced slop. Frozen Indian meals at the grocery store with a side of buttered toast would be a superior meal to this garbage.

Ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, ended up with the most dry chunks of chicken in what is basically tomato soup.
This place has been in steady decline for awhile and this is my litmus.

I ordered medium spicy palak paneer, I received a bland sauce with no paneer that looked like curry. The naan was hard and dry, also inedible. But, my dog did enjoy all of it. Uber Eats would not refund my entire meal.
I rarely write bad reviews, but this is an exception. Hopefully they will see this and make staffing or menu change.

Their portion sizes for takeout have dramatically decreased. I received my order of tika masala and lamb korma and I kid you not my order arrived and I was extremely disappointed. I did not receive rice which I usually do and the containers were A QUARTER full which would not even be enough to feed myself not including the other person I got food for. Extremely disappointed because I love how it tastes.

DON’T USE OTTER ONLINE ORDERING! Ownership changed and I just placed an order through Otter as I have done before, my credit card was charged, but when I arrived the owner told me he only uses UberEats and DoorDash. I showed him the confirmation of my order and that I paid for it, but he refused to honor it and told me it’s not his fault that the website is still up and linked to this new name because he is a new business owner.
I used to come here often and they have now lost a regular customer. Definitely disappointed.

This review is for Indian Spot after Indian Masala House/Dahab Indian seemingly moved to a new location and the food got significantly worse. We ordered from there thinking it was the same and they sent us inferior food. Indian Spot has been consistently good.
The food here is great. They often have deals for takeout and it’s an incredible value. Always arrives hot and fresh. No complaints. Great if you want something in a hurry and don’t feel like going to an actual sit down restaurant.
Four stars for location. Often no parking near by due to popularity and delivery drivers. But still worth it.

When we called them, they only answered with “hello?” Not even stating their own business name to confirm to the caller that they’ve reached the right place.
They were very fast paced and seemed to rush with no reason to.
The garlic naan didn’t have any garlic on it at all. It was so thin and pathetic.
The lamb Tikka Masala was literally watered down Campbell’s tomato sauce covering 4 lamb chunks with rice. The portions and flavor profile were sad for the price. This is not what Tikka Masala should taste like. Please do your taste buds a favor and take them elsewhere.
I can never find adequate Indian cuisine in Portland. The only good restaurant I’ve found is in Vancouver, WA that being Abhiruchi.
I’m writing off Portland’s idea of what Indian cuisine is. It’s not worth the money.
