I stopped in on Dec 23rd and ordered the Italian Sub. The Italian sub had to have been the worst Italian sub Ive ever ordered. It was flavorless, dry, looked cheap, messy. I didn’t even finish it cause it was so bad. Who makes a sandwich with chunky diced green peppers, Diced tomatoes. I’m in shock that a stellar sub place like Dagwoods would serve such a poor italian sandwich. The sad part is I emailed them about this and got zero response. There are better options for italian sun in farmington

OMG! I’m impressed and I’m not easily impressed with food! This is massive and not what I expected at all. This was my very first time ordering (got delivery too). The young lady that answered was so kind, and patient. She also delivered the food in the same polite and kind manner. The food is very good; more than enough to share or have for all day. Very reasonably priced considering portion size and quality! It fresh and delicious. I will return very soon.
Maybe soon they will have a beef bacon or turkey bacon option (wishful thinking)

I’ve been coming here since I was kid in the 90s. This is my favorite sandwich shop in the area. The bread always tastes fresh and they have so many choices that I have fun trying out a new sandwich nearly every time I come. The place is clean and the people are nice. The deli plates for parties are also very nice and not overpriced.

It was okay, but nothing special. I’ve had better subs. There are no options for small subs, so you pay a lot for big subs. I spent $16+ for a sub and only ate half.

Although it was an incredibly long time since I have been here, you were always on my mind. Great place for lunch! I also enjoyed the Italian sausage during the Founder’s Festival every year.

This might have been the best veggie hot sub I’ve ever had. The bread is excellent, they use Havarti & Colby instead of the usual Provolone you tend to get at sub shops, and the vegetables are fresh.
My wife had a chicken salad and was equally impressed by the freshness and quantity.
They also have fresh fruit and veggie pastas for side options.

Pricey and sandwiches are skimpy on the meat. Friendly service…so so atmosphere…very clean but nothing special. Its close to where I enjoy painting classes.

1st timer and this place is definitely a winner. Told the cashier it was our first time and she recommended several best sellers. We both tried the reuben and they were happy to substitute the bread for us. The sandwich was delicious and not a bit soggy so I can see why it’s a best seller.

Beware: I ordered a chef salad for carryout after viewing their online menu (minus eggs). When I was asked to pay, I noticed the total was more than it was supposed to be, based on the website menu. I told the person cashing me out that they needed to update the menu prices on their website. He questioned what site I was referring to because Yelp has the wrong menu and their salad prices were increased a long time ago. I showed him the page on my phone and he acknowledged they were the incorrect prices and he would tell whoever does their website maintenance.
I got back to my office and opened my salad container. I was surprised to see that ALL, every single piece, of the turkey and ham were the end/skin pieces of the meat rolls(?)- photo attached. I called Dagwood’s and told them what I received. I was told that’s how they do their salads. They save the end/skin pieces when they’re slicing up the meats and put them in the salads so they don’t waste anything.
I’m saddened and disappointed in the quality of the salad and their apparent practices. I spent almost $14 on a salad that I ended up picking off all of the “meat” pieces because who wants to eat meat skin with fat and maybe a small morsel of actual meat? Not a great feeling.

A great sandwich shop. The promotion is my favorite but you can’t go wrong with any of them! Delicious.
