Oh my goodness. Those ribs… My first visit. This is the Dad’s near 202 in Anniston. My goodness, the ribs are so good I didn’t use sauce. Smoky, tender, yummy goodness. The fried green tomatoes would have been better if cooked a little more but everything was so good. My brother ordered a lunch sandwich special; the smoked turkey sandwich, slaw, and potato salad. The potato salad was odd compared to the potato salad you normally get but still had a decent flavor. It tasted like it was made with baked potatoes instead of boiled potatoes. Kinda weird but still good. The employees were friendly, the dining area and bathrooms were clean. Next time I’m in Anniston I will go back!

This use to be my go to bbq spot but the product has gone way down hill . I find myself constantly leaving the drive thru only to turn around to return a bad order of skinny dried out ribs. The last trip was the final straw not only was the ribs dried out and skinny but on top of that they raised the price to almost $30 for a half slab rib plate. I’m DONE the thrill is gone….sad

Inedible. Seriously. “I wish I went next door to Sonic” and those are words I thought I’d never say.
Went to Dad’s BBQ on Noble street at 6:55 p.m. on a Saturday evening. We didn’t realize they were closing in 5 minutes as there was someone at the drive up and the sign said open. When we found that out, we asked if they still had items available. To our surprise they said they had everything except french fries. I ordered a BBQ chicken half, mac n cheese, onion rings, while my husband ordered ribs, green beans and onion rings. Twenty minutes later we took our food to go. My chicken was so hard and dry I literally couldn’t get my plastic fork to pierce the skin. The ribs were so dry they stuck in the back of your throat. The texas toast was completely soggy from being in a styrofoam container and my mac n cheese came out in one solid clump the shape of the styrofoam section it was in. $29.24 went into the garbage, with the exception of the onion rings which were fine. This is not the experience a business wants customers to have. I would have much preferred that they said sorry, we’re getting ready to close and than to have been served food that had been under a heat lamp for hours and hours (or that was put away and reheated in a microwave)? Not good business practice, not friendly, and we’re not going back. Maybe lunch hour is a different experience? I sure hope so.

The fried green tomatoes was not edible. I don’t know who fried these but they didn’t fry them long enough.Tasted like flour. The barbecue sandwich was dry and did not have enough sauce on it. The fries and the ranch was the only thing that was good. Been this way the past couple of times I have been there. I won’t go back again.

I ordered Two “family packs” one chicken with 2 sides one bbq meat with two sides. I ordered cole slaw (didn’t receive) mac&cheese, potato salad, and baked beans. What i received was terrible. There was no coleslaw but a extra “cup” of soggy mac&cheese.

During a difficult day with overwhelming obstacles, I clumsily entered Dad’s BBQ. I was very quickly assisted by the staff. Everyone was courteous and knowledgeable. The service was off. The chain (great)!!! The food was delicious! Mouth watering. I neglected to mention that I was on a walker. I was assisted to my seat and she even laced my shoes. My visit and experience was remarkable! They treated me better than family. BBQ, onions rings and love. Check them out for lunch and after work. I promise it’ll be the best part of your day. Thank you Dad’s BBQ.
