One name, you know they have to stand out. I felt like I was in Archie’s kitchen. It was a roast beef cheesesteak. Boar’s Head roast beef. Top quality meat purveyor, top quality Cheesesteak, top quality place and very nice people. Toasted Roll, the roll came out of a Ziploc bag and that was a red flag to me. The roll turned out very well. The cheese was melted onto the roll. I’m definitely not a fan of that. Apparently roast beef is a lean meat so they put olive oil on the grill to keep it moist. The two regular customers where chatty, pleasant and got to sample a new menu item. Yes, I was a little hurt that I didn’t get a free sample of the new menu item but I tried to be a professional when I did their score. Overall very good experience. Big (roast beef) cheese steak, rural Kennett Square experience and $10.

Great food and great service! I ordered the chicken cheesesteak and my dad got an egg salad sandwich. Neither one of us were disappointed and are heading home with full bellies! Parking is SUPER tight, but the food and staff made it 100% worth it!

I have picked up sandwiches from Archie’s twice now and both times they were awesome. The cheese steak was delicious. Highly recommend the Ruben. I will see how my friend likes his chicken salad, It was only $7.

Great place off the beaten path for breakfast and lunch. Clean, welcoming, friendly establishment! Fast service, yummy food and you know it’s great when their scrapple is from long time local business Franks! Stop in for good eats, and loyal regulars. Order at the counter, self serve coffee and local flavor that you just can’t beat! Highly recommend ❤️

Honestly I came in here thinking I will be greeted by nice people with great hospitality but instead I’m in for the worst. The owner himself treated me horribly. The food was not impressing I shall make sure that is the last time I go there. And he even harassed me about paying cash when I only had a debit card. I offered to pay the difference and he puffed rolled his eyes and denied my request. Still left a $2 tip to make sure you wouldn’t complain about the $1.30 banks charge you.
