Unfortunately, our business hours for the remainder of the summer (7/25-9/30) will be shortened to Saturday and Sunday 11-7pm, as Cancer has entered my family and I must spend more time at home, and less at Dad’s….looking for a miracle ….. Serving traditional American food, cooked by local teenagers and served by local teenagers. We have Fish and Chips, Burgers, Chili , Hot dogs, Pulled pork, Mac N Cheese, Onion rings, and of course a variety of ice cream sundries. God provided this place to use for teaching young people how to cook, serve and become responsible, respectful people. I thank HIM for allowing me to serve HIM in this capacity. Now serving FULL breakfast…..grill closes half hour before closing.

We stopped here after a nice hike and were super impressed. They were offering a free ham/prime rib dinner for Easter along with all the fixings and carrot cake, which was phenomenal, but we also ordered off the menu, which was great. They offer typical breakfast as well as traditional diner food such as burgers, hot dogs, and chicken tenders. The pulled pork mac and cheese was a huge hit, and the milk shakes were delicious. The prices were good and the staff were great!! The cook came out, brought us some of the food, and was very nice!! We were very impressed with the quality of his skills. I can definitely say he’s going places.

I have food allergies so I was happy to see on Dad’s website that they offer breakfast all day. When we got to the restaurant, I was told that breakfast ended at 11:30. The folks that I was with were able to order lunch but, unfortunately, there was nothing on the lunch menu that I could be sure I could safely order.

I and my friends and family go to Dad’s often as it has the best food around here!! The chicken salad roll is awesome! So are the chicken tenders and sweet potato fries! The mozzarella sticks are excellent with lots of yummy sauces to dip them in! JEAN – THIS IS A NEW REVIEW ON 9/7. THE LOBSTER ROLLS AND CORN CHOWDER WERE SO DELICIOUS! I COULD HAVE EATEN TWO OF THOSE LOBSTER ROLLS! THEY WERE SO GOOD! AND THE CORN CHOWDER WAS SOME OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD! MY SISTER AND I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OUR LOBSTER ROLLS AND CORN CHOWDER! I enjoyed their food immensely. Stopped in there on the way to see my brother who lives in Claremont. I’m from Litchfield. Their food was fresh and very good and came out in a timely manner. We had two cheeseburgers with fries and a side of chicken tenders all of which did not disappoint. Would go there again when passing through again.

Ask for a well done burger and it was undercooked and bread was saggy because it was not cooked right and the old lady was apparently in a bad mood she saids I’M no going to fly because other customer was over charged on top their burger was serve but not the drinks and they was almost done eating…so the ask ..that was when she slam the ordewindow as hard as she could …in front of all the customer the young gir apologized saying there was only 2 or 3 employees today moral of the story learned CUSTOMER SERVICE..IM NOT EVER GOING TO HAD AN EXPERIENCE LIKE THAT EVER WASTE MY MONEY TO EAT FRIES THAT WAS NOT FRESHLY MADE IN FAT WAS LEFT OVER FROM PREVIOUS ORDER…SMH.NEVER THE AJOLI MAYO IS GOID WITH THE FRIES….

Fun little spot to pull over. They have some tasty food, nothing too out of the ordinary, but well worth the price. The portions are very generous. Where they really shine are the amount of ice cream flavors they have. 32 flavors of soft serve alone! Plenty of parking and outdoor seating. Good place!

First visit and we will return! We each had cheeseburgers and they were very good. I usually do not order burgers out because it is hard to beat the burgers we have at home. This burger was close and that says A LOT! Tasty, fresh, cheese was melted and tomato was ripe! He added french fries to his and said they were good. Customer service was excellent as well. We visited at 4 pm on the holiday (July 4th) weekend and yes they were busy but the wait was minimal. Two thumbs up for the quality of food and the service! Give them a try!

I had the fish and french fries and coleslaw. The fish was nice and crispy tender inside french fries were good and nicely cooked the coleslaw was okay. I will definitely order it again.

Great little restaurant. We had been on the road from Maine for about 3 hours and were very hungry when we spotted Dad’s like a shining white star. Plenty of parking and the pulled pork mac n cheese was REALLY good. Great service. Friendly and pretty quick.

This place is Great! Friendly quick service with a smile. The place is clean, prices are very wallet friendly and the food is Amazing! I can’t wait to try more things from Dad’s. I just might have to make it a weekly treat! Now when I feel hungry, Dad’s is the first place I think of! 🙂
