I was fortunate enough to take a trip out to Monterey Bay. During my trip this restaurant was recommended to me. I didn’t know much about it except that I was told it was good! I ordered the country fried steak and it was okay. It wasn’t something that amazed me. However, my family friend let me try some of her plate. Which was the Philipino Breakfast plate. NOW THAT WAS AMAZING. The garlic and onion flavor was perfectly balanced. The pork was tender. The fried rice was delicious and had a nice blend with the eggs on top. The portion was huge as well. I had a coffee to drink and that was nice and strong, which is how I like it! Will definitely return if possible!

If you enjoy a good home cooked meal and a warm greeting atmosphere, this your spot. The food is good and made with love.
I got an omelet that was made with ‘5 eggs!’ I have never heard that, especially since it still came with a breakfast side and a bread. One of my favorites are their biscuits that came with a side or honey and gravy. It was either way and didn’t last on the plate for long. The star of the show was Geena, one of the owners. She stood by the food which sold me. Wonderful!

You will find delicious home style food in this mom & pop breakfast joint. Cool pictures of the owner’s grandfather and his war medals, as well as a humongous collage of snapshots of past customers spanning a side wall. This is where the locals eat breakfast. Huge portions, reasonably priced, and fast service. The place is nothing fancy, wedged in the middle of a strip mall, with just a banner saying “DINER” as signage. It’s easy to miss, but don’t. The breakfast will stick to your ribs and keep you satisfied all day. What more could you ask for?

When you walk in, you see a table with a positive affirmation for the day and the special of thr day, plus a local free, light-hearted/jovial periodical.

We were met by a smiling staff and were told to sit anywhere we’d like. Drink order taken. Menus already on the table for our perusal.

Before too long, our food appeared. Whoa! HUGE Pancakes! Fluffy. Tasty eggs!

We couldn’t eat it all so we took it home for later. Popped it in the microwave for a late snack. Still yummy!!!

That means they use the best ingredients. (Crappy ingredients don’t taste good later).

We loved our experience and will definitely return!

They don’t seem to know what they’re doing from an operations standpoint. They had 1 server to 12 tables, each table with multiple people seated.
The server was great and overworking, but that’s because she had no other option.
The atmosphere is odd – fake click-together flooring with tables placed randomly in the center of the room, and uninviting lighting.

When I walked in initially, I waited for a hostess to great me, but instead waited until the busy server finally yelled “you can sit anywhere.” There was no sign up front to welcome me in or tell me I can seat myself.

They’re currently open only Wednesdays and Thursdays, which explains not wanting to employee enough people to properly run the place.

The food wasn’t outstanding, but I needed something good, and it was good.
This isn’t a place I’ll save in Google maps as a “must come back”
Hopefully they can figure it out!

The portions themselves were HUGE, but the flavor wasn’t all that flavorful. However the vibe and the amount of food made up for it. I would go again

This is the place to go for amazing breakfast food. Everything is fresh and made from scratch. The country potatoes were soft and slik. The omelet was a good size and stuffed full. The biscuits are large and fluffy. The staff were right on top of things. Checked in just enough.

This spot was surprisingly not full at 10:30 on a Sunday! Score for me. It was mostly full by the time I left. Simple tables & feel. Had the chorizo scramble — tons of eggs! On the dry side, but hot sauce helps with that. Homesfries come with thinly sliced onions and bell peppers.

Cozy little place that serves breakfast food like Pancakes. I’ve gone a couple of times and liked how they didn’t burn the hashbrowns. I’d recommend the spam breakfast. I didn’t really like the tocino (was flavorless) but that didn’t stop me from giving this place 5 stars. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed each time I’ve visited.
