I tried the 3 meat platter (Ribs, brisket, & sausage with beans and fries). Service, by Daddy J himself, was fast and friendly. The ribs were great – tasty tender, and almost falling off the bone. Brisket was also very, very good. Sausage was just average – not bad but left a very fatty film feeling in my mouth. The sides were great. Fries crispy and just past golden brown. Beans are not usually something I rave about, but these were also exceptional. For travellers, the place is attached to a laundromat so you could get some laundry done while dining (eat slowly). They do not accept checks, so cash and credit only. As you would expect in a small town, this us a bare bones, no frills kind of place. The food is the real star. So glad I stopped!!!

Unassuming building shared with a laundromat. GREAT ribs. Brisket is served either sliced or chopped. Both are delicious. Sausage was good but my 3rd favorite on the list if the 3 meats. Beans were awesome. Potato salad was ok. The owner is the server and cashier. Friendly guy but not so overly friendly that he intruded on my dinner. Will definitely come back!
