We have been coming here when hosting relatives for 15 years. We stopped in again for great ice cream and had the nicest workers helping us. The train wasn’t running the day we were there but they said they’d have it going again soon.

Amazing ice cream and a cool fanily atmosphere. My daughter loves the trains, the piano and the ice cream lol. My wife and I really enjoy bringing the family here. This place had been around since I was a kid and my dad used to take me here. It feels the same today as it was 30 years ago. I love it!

I have been coming to this ice cream parlor with my grandparents since I was a young child. I was so pleased that they were still around now that I have my own child. We went with my grandmother for ice cream and Serafina loved it. They have a wide variety of flavors and a train that runs along the ceiling. Keep in mind that the train is very old and may not always be functioning when you arrive. They are always so nice and patient here. I cannot wait to return. Don’t worry, the sundae in front of my daughter was mine 🙂 She had a scoop of vanilla and loved it.

What a cool place. I am glad we stopped here. Lots of good flavors, too! I think between the three of us who visited each one of us had gotten different flavors, which was awesome because we tried each other’s, and they all had great flavor. I did a regular bowl. You can get waffles cones or waffle bowls. Next, I want to try their shakes. I recommend trying “garbage can” or “Carmel caribou” so good and so far my favorite. I saw a lot of people come here, and it looks like every local knows this place, and for good reason. Overall, yes, I would come back. I will come back next time in Florida.

We went to Daddy Dees for some ice cream. It’s a small place with tables inside and out. Even though the place is small it’s clean and neat with trains running overhead of you. The walls are lines with hats from businesses all over this area. They have such a large selection and it’s all in the case right in front of you so you can see what you’re going to order. You will stand in front of the ice cream cases and give your order. Lots of times there are lines, but they move fast. They have just about anything you want from 1, 2 or 3 scoops cones to banana splits. They have regular, waffle, to sprinkle cones and bowls. You name it when it comes to ice cream, they have it. I have always liked Daddy Dees ice cream. It’s not soft, it’s a hard ice cream with lots of flavor. If you’re hungry for ice cream don’t pass this place up. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

WHAT A LITTLE GEM!!! This ice cream parlor has homemade ice cream that is equal to if not better than the Love Boat that is better known but twice the price. If you like railroads and RR history, you will also be absolutely enamored by this charming establishment. We will become regulars and not hestitate to bring our out of town guests here instead of the more trendy and more expensive touristy places.
