Boba is okay, nothing special in my opinion.
Went in when they opened on 1/24/26 and probably had the most uncomfortable experience in a while. My daughter and I, after we placed our order, we sat down as our order was being prepared. Mind you… this is as soon as they opened so it’s no one but us plus the 2 employees. The guy making the drinks starts raising his voice about how the cashier pressed ‘continue’ which doesn’t prompt for tips on the screen. His tone and just overall attitude was so uncomfortable for us to be in there listening to him just talk to the cashier like that. Even when he called our order, he had such a nasty tone and attitude, like it was our fault that the tip screen didn’t come up. My daughter felt so uncomfortable by the whole situation that she didn’t even want to drink it. Maybeeeee next time, you guys should WAIT until there are no customers and talk to the employee about the corrective action or TALK QUIETLY so the people in the store doesn’t feel uncomfortable.
I gave them a chance to respond via DM on IG but since they want to ignore the message (go figure) just putting my review here.
Anyway, didn’t order the side of nasty attitude with our order so going elsewhere next time.

I hit up this bubble tea spot in Rockville and overall it’s a pretty chill place to grab a drink.
The vibe inside is relaxed with plenty of seating. They even have board games you can play while you sip, which is dope if you’re going with friends.
The drinks are generally solid. A few of their signature milk teas like the Japanese roasted or honey golden pearl have a good balance of flavor, and the boba texture is usually chewy and fresh.

This place serves a number of milk/tea drinks with a relaxing environment to sit down. Their chairs were comfortable. It’s a great place to hang out with friends for some bubble tea.
I had the honey golden pearl green milk tea, which was one of the signature drinks.
I would love to come back to try more items next time.

I have been in Rockville for a while but I some how overlooked Daboba. Great place super fast and great vibe. They explained things on the menu I didn’t understand and of course the giant boba. Even though we got flavors that didn’t come with the giant boba we were still able to get it to try out. Really enjoyed the mango yogurt slush. I will admit I am always worried I will not like a certain boba but the staff here helped me navigate and I really enjoyed it. 10/10 would Daboba again.
