This was my first time trying Da Vien Coffee, even though I pass by it almost every day. The place was packed, which shows how popular it is. There’s plenty of seating, the customer service was good, and the service was fairly fast. I didn’t feel like the wait time was long ☕️

They have a variety of menu options, and I ordered a regular matcha with oat milk. Unfortunately, it had more ice than matcha, which affected the overall experience. The taste was okay, but I’ve had better matcha at other coffee shops

This is just my personal experience, and I always recommend people try a place for themselves since experiences can vary. Overall, it’s a decent coffee shop, but the matcha didn’t meet my expectations this time.

The banana latte is so good. This place normally gets really busy. Wouldn’t recommend this as a calm studying place on a Saturday afternoon. However the coffee itself is amazing, they have around 15 options for coffee and some pastries. I haven’t tried the matcha but my friends have told me it’s amazing.

Go to Vietnamese Coffee spot!

My go to is the Einspanner Latte!
So Einspanner is just German for like heavy cream. Its strong Vietnamese coffee with the thickest cream you’ve ever had. Its so good!
Marble drip is perfect if you dont like too strong of a coffee flavor. Plenty of sweet to drown out the bitter. Its a good noob drink
Download the app and take advantage of ordering early before arrival and the BOGO deals. And it motivates you to try drinks outside your normal box. So far everything has been delicious. Banana latte tastes like youre eating a banana pudding, ube was so tasty too and I learned I may like Ube flavor. Pretty cool

they meet all those insta-viral expectations; that black sesame cream top smashes the dense, nutty, musky, sesame notes, and layered against a bright-velvety matcha, it works a treat . portion sizes are generous too with a nice ice ratio balance, so they definitely know what’s up. my only gripe is that i wish there was more of that black sesame cream top, after a few sips you’re left with what is basically just a solid matcha. the interior at this branch is rather sparse as well, better suited for a casual natter than any serious studying. still, this chain’s well worth the pit-stop.

I really wanted to like this place because there are definite positives. The shop is clean, parking is easy, they open early (which is a huge plus), and the drinks are genuinely good.

However, be cautious with their promos. They run promotions that can be confusing, or at least they weren’t clearly explained. I ordered drinks for myself and a friend, thinking their Lunar New Year BOGO promo would apply. I even chose to order in-store instead of through the app because I couldn’t see the discount reflected there. That may have been my misunderstanding.

I paid for both drinks and then asked for a voucher for my friend since I covered her order. That’s where the experience fell short. I was told it’s “one per order.” Had I known that, I would have simply split it into two separate transactions. Instead of finding a simple solution, the response was just “sorry.”

It wasn’t about the free drink—it was about customer service. Many great shops would have honored it or worked with the customer, especially when the request was reasonable. With so many café and boba options around, service makes a difference.

I’ll use the voucher I received and likely uninstall the app after. My family enjoys trying different tea and coffee spots, and unfortunately this experience makes it hard to return.

Happy Soft Opening to Da Vien’s 4th newest location!

Their grand opening date is Saturday, May 24. Check their socials for promos and details!

Parking: Finding a spot can be difficult since there’s a small and busy parking lot. Highly recommend carpooling.

Ambiance/Environment: I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and oof they were busyyy. This is probably their smallest location. There’s limited indoor seating, and it can get stuffy inside. No outdoor seating. This location is more so a quick grab-n-go.

Service: They have a self ordering kiosk in the left corner. You can also order in person if you prefer that. Workers were quick & efficient. Throughput was under 5 minutes.

Drinks: Y’all already know I looove their drinks! They introduced their new Strawberry Milk Matcha. Not only were the layers aesthetically pleasing, but it also tasted amazing! The strawberries were fresh and blended well with the matcha. Of course, I also treated myself to my favorite coffees and refreshing teas.

1. Strawberry Milk Matcha
2. Caramel Matcha Latte
3. Lychee Jasmine Tea
4. Sesame Latte
5. Da Vien Coffee

This location is newly opened so it’s very packed, but at least the line move quickly and they got a lot of employees to fast stream orders. The shop is small sandwiched between many other food business in the complex, parking is full kinda hard to find. I got the normal viet coffee for $6 large. Very reasonable price, cheaper than many other coffee shops. Taste is strong per usual for all viet coffee, doesn’t feel watered down. Will be back. 🙂

My wife and I stop by at the end of the day to check out this place on their first day of biz. I had their seasonal Strawberry Milk Macha and my wife had Ube with the Macha. It was late and didn’t want caffeine. They were both delicious and we’ll be back to try the coffee drinks.

Been to their Fountain Valley store but this one is closest to my house in Cerritos. The store is clean and welcoming. For the coffee and matcha….. as expected quench your morning thirst for that caffeine.

Just speaking about the vietnamese coffee at this Cerritos location. But their vietnamese coffee here seems to be watered down when compared to the Cypress, Stanton, and Rosemead locations. Im a regular at the mentioned locations and they’re always consistent in flavor/strength. I had it twice now at the Cerritos store and thought it was a fluke the first time. I’ve tried it the second time and surely, their vietnamese coffee is noticeably lighter or watered down. But service is always top notch.
