Took my parents for my dad’s birthday dinner last night and it was absolutely delicious. It was our first time ever here. I would 100% come back and recommend it to anyone. Not only is the place adorable inside, the service is amazing our server Kristin was beyond sweet and very attentive. The menu offers a lot of variety and the food was beyond delicious we were extremely impressed.

We come here once a year because this is a very unique restaurant with old charm.

It serves up good Italian dishes and the people are nice.

They make a good calamari dish. Their sauces do need to be more flavorful as it was somewhat bland. Their specialty drinks are ok but stick with the common drinks.

The server that we had had a big table so it took away the attention to our table so we were not able to get the best service that we normally get.

Overall it is a good restaurant and I do recommend if you want to take somebody on a date or for a special occasion.

Andrew the server was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional and a big help in making final menu choices.. Everything coming out of the kitchen smelled amazing! The flavors did not disappoint and the cannoli finale was exceptional in taste and presentation! Looking forward to next visit!

Used to be our FAVORITE place. Not anymore sadly. Place used to be so busy that if you don’t have a reservation, you would get a table. Place was very slow. We risked it by even going in on a rainy night. Got a table within minutes as there were PLENTY open even though it was Friday! Menu changed. Very few items that say fresh pasta. Everything used to be fresh. Server was very rushed and didn’t take any time with us. No specials. Expresso drink was lukewarm. My drink was pretty good but also very strong. My food gave me a stomachache. My husband’s tasted like a jar of cheap pasta sauce. No fresh pizza anymore. We used to know we had to wait due to things being fresh. Now it’s just so subpar. For the price of things and how much we used to enjoy this place, it’s just a sad let down. Don’t go here looking for fresh authentic Italian.

1500 reviews can be wrong. We ordered calamari, which was greasy, chewy, and tasted only of breading. Our entrees were veal marsala and Ravioli all’Aragosta con Salsa Gamberoni. The veal was mixed bag in texture with parts of it tough and parts very soft. It was also wholly tasteless and under seasoned with a marsala that completely overwhelmed it. The Ravioli is factory bagged seafood paste that was under cooked and chewy. Fresh pasta doesn’t mean fresh from the factory and we paid $32 for a bag of premade seafood ravioli. Really that is our fault because we realized where the pasta was coming from and still ordered ravioli. Overall just a miserable $100 meal.

Absolutely the BEST Italian restaurant experience!

Hands down the best pasta I’ve ever had perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and made with so much care. Every bite felt authentic and unforgettable.

The drinks were outstanding, perfectly balanced and refreshing, the kind you want to order again before you’re even done with the first one.

What truly made the experience exceptional was the unique and warm service. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and made us feel genuinely cared for from start to finish.

This place is a total gem. I will definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone who loves real Italian food and an elevated dining experience. ❤️

Very nice atmosphere & friendly professional service overall. The only negative is an important one that we find at many Italian restaurants- the pasta dishes were extremely salty! The Parelldell Angelo especially was almost in-edible. The chicken Marsala was too salty also- we took most of the dishes home to try to “de-salt “( rinsing with water) before eating. The appetizers, salads, & deserts were excellent. We will visit again but will be more selective about what we order.

Came in on a recommendation and without a reservation. Reservations are recommended.

Upscale Italian, the menu reflects authentic Italian dishes, and the chef delivers!

Meals come with fresh bread and two dipping sauces, one with herbs and the other sun dried tomatoes. Our attentive waiter made sure we had additional bread when he saw the plate empty.

I ordered the Shrimp Bisque soup and it was outstanding. Served at the perfect temperature and as smooth and creamy as could be!

The entree I selected was the Gamberoni Michelina ($31), a dish of large shrimp in a garlic, lemon, and white wine sauce, served with fettuccine. The fettuccine was cooked to perfection, the sauce smooth and delicious, and the shrimp was fresh and firm.

My partner ordered Mistro de Pesce al “Jimmy V” con fettuccine integral ($33), a dish of shrimp, scallops, and calamari in a light spicy tomato sauce over whole wheat fettuccine. Again, simply delicious!

We finished the meal with a Mini Cannoli Siciliani ( 2 small pieces) and were not disappointed.

This is, indeed, authentic Italian, from the northern parts of the country.

Seating was comfortable, the atmosphere was nice, and the service was impeccable.

This is the best Italian that I have had since I’ve been in Florida. Simply unmatched on every level.

Highly recommend, but try to make a reservation, especially on a weekend.

Loved our first time at Da Sesto – it’s a great in-between spot to meet between Clearwater and St Pete. Our salmon was absolutely DELICIOUS- as was the broccoli and potatoes. Generous portions and excellent service. My husband loved the Malbec Unko wine – his favorite to date.
