Fantastic small Italian Restaurant in Downtown Florence area. Our food was delicious. Ample portions and very attentive service. We were staying at the Hyatt Place downtown and just googled Italian food. This was a wonderful find. Our dessert was yummy too. Cudos to our waiter , Marlon. Top notch

This was a halfway point to meet family for dinner. We were pleasantly greeted, the staff was so friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed Mussels, Burrata, Rigatoni, Stuffed Gnocchi, and a delicious Pork Chop! Tiramisu and Chocolate Hazelnut gelato were both fabulous!! Definitely would return to have another delicious meal….Marlon was an excellent server, and all the staff was very nice! Try it!!!

My wife and I visited here for the first time tonight. For us, it was date night. It was fabulous! First, let me tell you this restaurant is not Olive Garden or Stefano’s. It is something very special. Marlon, our server, was very professional. He met us outside, held the door and gently invited us inside where we were promptly seated. Their wine selection is wide ranging. We served fresh bread with olive oil and herbs. Our entrees were over the top. For dessert we had tiramsu and Forest Berry Tart. Yum! The love that this family demonstrates in their food and service is extremely special. We will be back. The night was truly special for us. We will share our story with all of our friends.

IMPECCABLY MAGNIFICENT. Nonetheless,I will be detailed. First time in Florence in October 2024 post hurricane Milton, fleeing from Florida we intended to have dinner here but they were fully booked. Now we have returned and arrived promptly as they opened at 5pm, pleasantly greeted by Jennifer. You can no longer find such hidden gems anywhere in the USA. Perhaps in Italy, certo, but not in the US unless it’s on South Irby Street in Florence SC. Adorable Xmas decor, quaint and clean little restaurant but the food was superb, delicious and of course the attentive service just as great. Their homemade bread is delicioso, their mozzarella cheese with tomatoes appetizer was fantastic. We had the eggplant Lasagna with their homemade sauce and the lemon chicken with pasta. People who live in Palmetto in Florence SC are lucky. Thank you for a great dinner and for our luck to have met your local lovely couple , the Barrone. WE WILL BE BACK, GRACIE.

I was randomly searching for pizza in the area that wasn’t from a chain and I luckily came across this spot. Unfortunately, they don’t have pizza (or carry out to my knowledge) but when the food, atmosphere and service is this good, who cares?? Where do I start? We went there on a Friday night at around 7pm. The place is so inconspicuous that we would’ve passed it had it not been for the Christmas lights out front. We went in to the definition of a quaint but cozy restaurant and were immediately greeted by both waiters (yes there were only two but they were excellent) one of whom told us it would be a 10 minute wait. We waited in the car for 10 minutes then went back and were seated immediately. We were met with glasses of water and the best bread and seasoned olive oil pairing I’ve ever had in my life. Seriously, that may have been the best bite of the night and that’s saying a lot. We followed up with the Caesar salad and it was perfection. I ordered the vodka penne and my fiancé got the stuffed rigatoni. Both were excellent. The specials sounded amazing too but I wanted to try something I’ve had before before diving head first. But no worries because we will be back. The atmosphere allowed for us to have intimate conversations and really bask in all they had to offer. Very long story short, if you’re looking for a place to eat good and fresh food, have excellent service and just enjoy your company, this place is it. 10/10

The food here was fantastic and the service was next level. We had the ravioli special, lemon chicken, caprese and the pistachio cheesecake and all will be remembered fondly. Eugene was warm, welcoming and hilarious. We will definitely go back and will be telling friends.

VERY DISAPPOINTING!! To start with, we waited 1 HOUR for our food to be served. We did not order appetizers or salad so we figured it would be faster since there were only two dishes and the restaurant was half empty. We ordered the vodka rigatoni and the veal. The pasta sauce was good but the pancetta was undercooked (tasted like raw bacon?). The fried veal was soggy and the meat was raw inside. Honestly, if serving didn’t lack sooo much we wouldn’t be as upset about the food. We only got our food after one hour once we ask for it to be cancelled since we were getting hungry and there was no sign of our food. Also, there was definitely a preference situation as locals and regular guests were being served first even though they got there after us and they were definitely receiving much more attention than us.
