Staff were super friendly and talked me into getting their new bayou pasta, I got it with the shrimp! Was delicious! Their Cajun seasoning and all of their sides are really good. We love the fried okra and Mac and cheese. Decently priced too!

Decided to stop by after I saw it for a lunch stop. I got the Shak Trio, and man it was a ton of food, enough for dinner and lunch tomorrow! Great environment, great food, great service. Probably the best fried catfish I’ve ever had along with the hush puppies! Wish there was something like this in Colorado, guess I’ll have to come back to Kansas again for more great fried Cajun food

First time I’ve had a chance to go here and I’m not gonna lie.I told the guy to make it spicy and he made it spicy like real spicy but I ask for it so it’s my fault.. All in all I would say is some damn good chickand the hush puppies were really good as was the fish….

Fried food done right. An unassuming place with 4 tables, but plenty of traffic, that lives up to the high rating. I got the Duo Combo for $14, which had perfectly crusted catfish, a few chicken strips, and two sides (the okra was amazing). I’ll definitely be going back.

Tried alligator for the first time and it was really good and tender. Really good gizzards as well. However the fish was disappointing. They were thin little strips that had more breading than meat. The macaroni and cheese was just straight up from the freezer section of a grocery store.

Absolutely amazing !! Everything is so flavorful!!! The place is always clean !! Usually get the fried alligator, which is amazing, but that catfish is outstanding!! Nothing bland in those four walls!! And those hush puppies !! Let’s just say these people know what they are doing!! Stop driving by and stop in and make your tastebuds happy!! Staff is so friendly makes me feel right at home every time !!

I heard so many good things about it so I finally gave it a try for myself. Everything was made fresh to order. The chicken strips were lightly breaded and tastes like home cooking as did the catfish. Definitely going back to try the gator, gizzards, liver, and shrimp.
